In a striking condemnation of the media’s handling of the recent 2024 presidential debate, Mark Penn, a former top adviser to Bill and Hillary Clinton, voiced serious concerns over what he described as a “rigged” debate in favor of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

 

Speaking on the John Solomon Reports podcast, Penn pointed a finger directly at ABC News, accusing them of skewing the debate against former President Donald Trump and showing blatant favoritism toward Vice President Harris. This revelation adds fuel to an already raging fire surrounding media bias in the 2024 election and highlights the growing distrust many Americans have in establishment news outlets.

During the debate, moderated by ABC’s David Muir and Linsey Davis, it became glaringly apparent to many observers that Trump was held to a different standard than his opponent. Trump, known for his no-nonsense and unapologetic style, was constantly interrupted, pressed, and “fact-checked” on many of his accusations and policy statements.


In contrast, Harris was allowed to skate through the evening with little to no scrutiny of her own statements. This stark imbalance left many wondering whether the moderators were truly impartial or if they were actively working to shield the Democratic candidate from tough questioning.

 

Penn did not mince words, calling for an internal investigation at ABC News to determine whether the debate was rigged from the outset. “I actually think they should do a full internal investigation, hire an outside law firm. I don’t know how much of this was planned in advance,” Penn said. His comments reflect a deepening suspicion among political commentators and voters that mainstream media is working in concert with Democratic campaigns to undermine Trump’s chances in the 2024 election.

 

Trump has long been a vocal critic of the media, often labeling them the “enemy of the people” for their overt bias and unrelenting hostility toward his presidency and candidacy. The 2024 debate only reaffirmed what Trump and his supporters have been saying for years—that the mainstream media is working hand in hand with the Democratic establishment to block his return to the White House.

 

ABC News’ moderators were notably more aggressive in pressing Trump for answers while allowing Harris to evade critical questions, feeding the perception of a stacked deck. Trump made this clear in his post-debate remarks, declaring that he would not participate in any further debates if the format remained as lopsided as it was.

 

Even CNN’s Jake Tapper, hardly a Trump supporter, acknowledged that Kamala Harris dodged many of the debate’s most critical questions, further proving that Trump’s complaints about the debate’s unfairness were not unfounded.


Despite the seemingly “three against one” nature of the event, Trump emerged as the winner in the eyes of many, including undecided voters. A post-debate poll from Reuters showed that Trump had a stronger showing than Harris, gaining significant support from independents and those still on the fence.

 

This result flies in the face of the media’s clear attempt to cast Harris as the victor, illustrating the enduring strength of Trump’s message and his connection with the American people.


Penn’s call for an independent investigation into ABC News’ handling of the debate is not just about this one event. It speaks to a larger problem of media bias that has plagued American politics for years. As Penn explained, the suspicion surrounding the debate is “quite high,” and a thorough review of internal communications at ABC—texts, emails, and instructions given to moderators—should be conducted by an independent third party.

 

“What the situation demands is transparency and accountability,” Penn stated. “If the referees have their finger on the scale, it’s harder to break through and overcome.”

In a political environment where every decision matters, especially in the lead-up to an election as pivotal as 2024, media bias has the potential to dramatically alter the course of American democracy. When news organizations abandon their responsibility to remain neutral and instead become advocates for one side, the American people lose faith in the democratic process.

 

This erosion of trust in the media was a major theme during Trump’s first term, and it continues to be an issue in his second campaign. Trump’s supporters are no strangers to seeing their candidate unfairly maligned and attacked by the press, yet they remain resolute in their belief that Trump is the one leader capable of taking on the establishment and restoring fairness to the system.

Kamala Harris, currently Vice President under Joe Biden, has benefited immensely from a mainstream media that has treated her with kid gloves throughout her political career. Despite her lack of accomplishments and dubious record as California’s attorney general, Harris has been propped up as the future of the Democratic Party, with glowing profiles and puff pieces that would make any politician jealous.

 

As Penn pointed out, Harris has succeeded in convincing some Americans that she represents “change,” even though she’s been an integral part of an administration that has overseen unprecedented inflation, rising crime, and chaos at the southern border. The media has largely ignored her failures and missteps, choosing instead to focus on her identity and her role as a “historic” candidate.

 

But as Trump and his campaign have made clear, Harris is not the leader the country needs—and her policies, if ever fully enacted, would spell disaster for America’s working families.

Penn also highlighted one of Harris’s most radical positions: her support for taxpayer-funded s*x change operations for prisoners and her call to defund ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).

 

These positions, documented in her response to an ACLU survey, expose just how out-of-touch Harris is with mainstream American values. As Penn advised, Trump’s campaign would do well to distribute this survey to every voter, showing just how extreme Harris’s positions truly are.

 

As the 2024 election draws nearer, the stakes couldn’t be higher. With a biased media openly working to undermine Trump and prop up Kamala Harris, the battle ahead will be fierce. But if there’s one thing Trump has proven, it’s that he’s a fighter. ‘AminoSweet’: The Deceptive Rebrand of Toxic ‘Aspartame’ You Need to Know About:

Imagine biting into your favorite "sugar-free" snack, confident you're making a healthier choice, only to discover you've been unknowingly consuming a controversial artificial sweetener in disguise. This scenario is becoming increasingly common as aspartame, a synthetic sweetener with a troubled reputation, undergoes a deceptive makeover. Enter "AminoSweet" - a name designed to evoke images of natural, wholesome amino acids, while concealing a potentially dangerous chemical cocktail.

 

The Rebranding of a Controversial Sweetener

In 2010, Ajinomoto, one of the world's largest aspartame producers, made a strategic decision to rebrand their aspartame product as "AminoSweet."1 This marketing move was clearly aimed at distancing the product from the negative associations many consumers have with aspartame. By emphasizing the amino acid components of aspartame - phenylalanine and aspartic acid - Ajinomoto attempted to present their product in a more natural, health-conscious light.

 

However, this rebranding effort does nothing to change the fundamental nature and potential risks of aspartame consumption. As Lisa Kilgour, a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, explains: "In the case of AminoSweet, those amino acids are found in thousands of foods, not just the fruit they've chosen to brand with. However, combined those two amino acids on their own are a unique chemical structure."2

The chemical bonds holding these components together create a compound that does not occur in nature and that the human body processes in unique - and potentially harmful - ways.

 

Hidden Dangers of Aspartame Consumption

Another Trump Assassination Plot?

The Media’s Double Standard strikes again:

How do you think the Democrats and their media allies would respond if a 19-time Republican donor tried to kill the Democratic Party’s candidate for president? The question answers itself.

 

Donald J. Trump nearly lost his life on Sunday. Again. An armed gunman waited for him in the bushes. He brought a GoPro camera to record it. A Secret Service agent spotted the barrel of a gun through a fence and fired at the gunman. The gunman fled. He was caught. And now we slowly learn about him and his motive.

President Trump is my running mate and my friend, but more importantly, he is a father and grandfather to people who love him very much. I want him to have many more years with his family. (And selfishly, I’d like many more with my own.)

 

The logic of censorship leads directly to one place, for there is only one way to silence a human being permanently: Put a bullet in his brain.

I admire President Trump for calling for peace and calm. The rhetoric is out of control. It nearly got Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) and other members of the House Republican caucus killed on a Northern Virginia baseball field a few years ago. It nearly got Donald Trump killed twice. But I want to say something about Sunday’s news and how it illuminates the difference between vigorous debate and violent rhetoric.

 

Here is what we know so far: Kamala Harris has said that “democracy is on the line" in her race against President Trump. The gunman agreed and used the exact same phrase. He had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on his truck. He was obsessed with Ukraine’s “fight for democracy” and absorbed many unhinged views about the Russia-Ukraine war. His name is Ryan Routh, and he donated 19 times to Democratic Party causes and zero to Republican ones.

How do you think the Democrats and their media allies would respond if a 19-time Republican donor tried to kill the Democratic Party’s candidate for president? The question answers itself.

 

For years, Kamala Harris’ campaign surrogates have said things like “Trump has to be eliminated.” And how have their media allies responded to the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump in as many months?

NBC News called the attempted assassination a “golf club incident.” The Los Angeles Times told us "Trump Targeted at Golf Club." USA Today's top-of-the-fold headline on Monday was “Hope in America,” and the paper published a preposterous letter to the editor arguing that Trump “brings these assassination attempts on himself.” CNN's Dana Bash — who bizarrely accused me of inciting a bomb threat — said Monday that Harris campaign rhetoric didn’t motivate Routh even though he echoed that rhetoric explicitly.

 

The weekend news show on PBS perfectly illustrated the double standard of Kamala Harris' media friends. After spending 30 seconds on the second attempt on President Trump’s life, the show then focused on the real danger: Trump and me. According to the talking heads at PBS, we are personally responsible for bomb threats against residents of Springfield, Ohio. Never mind that I repeatedly condemned those threats. And subsequent reports suggest they came from a foreign country, not a deranged Trump fan as the media suggested.

 

The double standard is breathtaking. Donald Trump and I are, by their account, directly responsible for bomb threats from foreign countries. Why? Because we had the audacity to repeat what residents told us about the problems in their town. Meanwhile, Harris allies call for Trump to be eliminated as the media publishes arguments that he deserved to be shot.


While this seems like a double standard, at a deeper level, it is entirely consistent.

Consider Springfield. Citizens are telling us there are problems. These include the undeniable truths of more car accidents, unaffordable housing, evictions of residents, overcrowded hospitals, overstressed schools, and rising rates of disease. They also include the infamous pet stories — which, again, multiple people have spoken about (either on video or to me or my staff).

 

Kamala Harris’ first strategy was to ignore these people and their concerns. Yes, she had prevented the deportation of millions of illegal aliens, and some of them made their way to Springfield, a small town with no voice. Some of the local leadership even loved having the cheap labor. So, the suffering of thousands of American citizens went ignored.

Her campaign’s next move has been to push censorship.

 

In Springfield, a psychopath (or a foreign government) called in a bomb threat, so naturally they blame President Trump and me. The threat of violence is disgraceful, of course, yet the media seem to relish it. They cover a bomb threat, but not the rise in murders. They cover the threat, but not the increase in HIV cases. They cover the threat, not the schools overwhelmed with new kids who don’t speak English. They cover the threat, not rising insurance rates or the car accidents that caused them. They cover the threat, not the failures of Kamala Harris’ leadership.

 

For the next seven weeks of this campaign, I will vigorously defend your right to speak your mind.

The purpose is not to turn down the rhetoric. If anything, covering the bomb threats gives whoever makes them exactly what he wants: attention. The purpose is distraction and shame. How dare you talk about the problems associated with Haitian migration in Springfield? You’re endangering people, simply by discussing the consequences of Kamala Harris’ policies. It's a form of moral blackmail, designed not to make anyone safe but to shut everyone up.

Springfield is the most recent but hardly the most egregious example.

 

There was the Hunter Biden laptop story, censored by Big Tech. And who could forget that anyone who didn’t support Kamala Harris’ Ukraine policy was drenched in the blood of Ukrainian children? That last one appears to have had some effect on Routh, Trump’s most recent would-be assassin.

The message is always the same: Don’t you dare express an opinion about the public affairs of your nation. Just shut up.

 

This is the difference between debate — even aggressive debate — and censorship. It is one thing to attack Kamala Harris for “destroying the country” and quite another to say that Donald Trump should be “eliminated.” It is one thing to criticize overheated rhetoric and another to say that a former president has invited an assassination on himself. It is one thing to say that Trump’s arguments about the election of 2020 are wrong. It is another thing to attempt to remove him from the ballot over it.

 

It is one thing to argue that pets are not, in fact, being eaten. It’s another thing to say that anyone who disagrees is trying to murder people. Dissent, even vigorous dissent, is a great tradition of the United States. Censorship is not.


For the next seven weeks of this campaign, I will vigorously defend your right to speak your mind. I believe you have every right to criticize me and Donald J. Trump, even if you say terrible or untrue things about us. But when I ask you to “tone down the rhetoric,” it isn’t about being nice — Americans have every right to be mean, even if I don't like it — or empty platitudes.

 

Instead, I’m asking all of us to reject censorship. Reject the idea that you can control what other people think and say. Embrace persuasion of your fellow citizens over silencing them — either through the powers of Big Tech or through moral blackmail. I think this will make our public debate much better.

But there is something else. When you reject censorship, you reject political violence. Embrace censorship, and you will inevitably embrace violence on its behalf.

 

The reason is simple. The logic of censorship leads directly to one place, for there is only one sure way to silence a human being permanently: Put a bullet in his brain.

Trump’s golf outing was a last minute decision. Yet, Routh was already hiding in the bushes, waiting for Trump to walk by on the golf course with his GoPro camera set up for the “perfect shot.” How did this well trained killer make it that far by himself and how did he know where Trump would be? I’m only an outside observer, but with Trump head of the Global Military Alliance which was arresting thousands of corrupt Deep State Globalists, it’s pretty obvious to me that the two recent Trump Assassination Attempts were Homeland Security- FBI-Biden Administration Inside Jobs. But of course, those were the very agencies that held the power and were required to “investigate” the incidents, so why should we worry?
