Verses for today:

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Matthew 2:10-11 KJV

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men.

Luke 2:13-14 KJV

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21 KJV

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Luke 1:46-47 KJV

No CO2 reduction in Canada since 1990!! [After spending $100 Billion]

Did you know: Canada has spent $100 Billion on reducing greenhouse gasses with NO RESULTS. Seriously!

Watch the video of a Member of Parliament quoting our Environmental Commissioner and Auditor General.  "Canada is the only country that has not achieved any emission reduction since 1990"

Watch the video of our MP exposing it all starting just after the 4-minute mark (for about 5 minutes)

·       These figures look specifically at CO2 emissions – not total greenhouse gas emissions. You find total, and other greenhouse gas emissions, later in this country profile.

  • ·       Annual emissions can be largely influenced by population size – we present the per capita figures above.

 Another ‘Great CHRISTMAS STORY’!

"Christmas 1881" Posted by Mot at TNT

Dec 25

Mot:  Christmas 1881Pa never had much compassion for the lazy or those who squandered their means and then never had enough for the necessities. But for those who were genuinely in need, his heart was as big as all outdoors. It was from him that I learned the greatest joy in life comes from giving, not from receiving. It was Christmas Eve, 1881.

I was fifteen years old and feeling like the world had caved in on me because there just hadn't been enough money to buy me the rifle that I'd wanted for Christmas. We did the chores early that night for some reason. I just figured Pa wanted a little extra time so we could read in the Bible.

After supper was over I took my boots off and stretched out in front of the fireplace and waited for Pa to get down the old Bible. I was still feeling sorry for myself and, to be honest, I wasn't in much of a mood to read Scriptures. But Pa didn't get the Bible, instead he bundled up again and went outside.

I couldn't figure it out because we had already done all the chores. I didn't worry about it long though, I was too busy wallowing in self-pity. Soon Pa came back in. It was a cold clear night out and there was ice in his beard. "Come on, Matt," he said. "Bundle up good, it's cold out tonight." I was really upset then.

Not only wasn't I getting the rifle for Christmas, now Pa was dragging me out in the cold, and for no earthly reason that I could see. We'd already done all the chores, and I couldn't think of anything else that needed doing, especially not on a night like this. But I knew Pa was not very patient at one dragging one's feet when he'd told them to do something, so I got up and put my boots back on and got my cap, coat, and mittens.

Ma gave me a mysterious smile as I opened the door to leavethe house. Something was up, but I didn't know what. Outside, I became even more dismayed. There in front of the house was the work team, already hitched to the big sled. Whatever it was we were going to do wasn't going to be a short, quick, little job. I could tell. We never hitched up this sled unless we were going to haul a big load. Pa was already up on the seat, reins in hand. I reluctantly climbed up beside him.

The cold was already biting at me. I wasn't happy. When I was on, Pa pulled the sled around the house and stopped in front of the woodshed. He got off and I followed. "I think we'll put on the high sideboards," he said. "Here, help me." The high sideboards! It had been a bigger job than I wanted to do with just the low sideboards on, but whatever it was we were going to do would be a lot bigger with the high side boards on.

After we had exchanged the sideboards, Pa went into the woodshed and came out with an armload of wood - the wood I'd spent all summer hauling downfrom the mountain, and then all fall sawing into blocks and splitting. What was he doing? Finally I said something. "Pa," I asked, "what are you doing?" "You been by the Widow Jensen's lately?" he asked.

The Widow Jensen lived about two miles down the road. Her husband had died a year or so before and left her with three children, the oldest being eight. Sure, I'd been by, but so what? Yeah," I said, "Why?" "I rode by just today," Pa said. "Little Jakey was out digging around in the woodpile trying to find a few chips. They're out of wood, Matt." That was all he said and then he turned and went back into the woodshed for another armload of wood. I followed him.

We loaded the sled so high that I began to wonder if the horses would be able to pull it. Finally, Pa called a halt to our loading, then we went to the smoke house and Pa took down a big ham and a side of bacon. He handed them to me and told me to put them in the sled and wait. When he returned he was carrying a sack of flour over his right shoulder and a smaller sack of something in  his left hand. "What's in the little sack?" I asked. Shoes, they're out of shoes.

Little Jakey just had gunny sacks wrapped around his feet when he was out in the woodpile this morning. I got the children a little candy too. It just wouldn't be Christmas without a little candy." We rode the two miles to Widow Jensen's pretty much in silence. I tried to think through what Pa was doing. We didn't have much by worldly standards. Of course, we did have a big woodpile, though most of what was left now was still in the form of logs that I would have to saw into blocks and split  before we could use it.

We also had meat and flour, so we could spare that, but I knew we didn't have any money, so why was Pa buying them shoes and candy? Really, why was he doing any of this? Widow Jensen had closer neighbors than us; it shouldn't have been our concern. We came in from the blind side of the Jensen house and unloaded the wood as quietly as possible, then we took the meat and flour and shoes to the door. We knocked.

The door opened a crack and a timid voice said, "Who is it?" "Lucas Miles, Ma'am, and my son, Matt... could we come in for a bit?" Widow Jensen opened the door and let us in. She had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. The children were wrapped in another and were sitting in front of the fireplace by a very small fire that hardly gave off any heat at all. Widow Jensen fumbled with a match and finally lit the lamp.

"We brought you a few things, Ma'am," Pa said and set down the sack of flour. I put the meat on the table. Then Pa handed her the sack that had the shoes in it. She opened it hesitantly and took the shoes out, one pair at a time. There was a pair for her and one for each of the children - sturdy shoes, the best... shoes that would last.

I watched her carefully. She bit her lower lip to keep it from trembling and then tears filled her eyes and started running down her cheeks. She looked up at Pa like shewanted to say something, but it wouldn't come out. "We brought a load of wood too, Ma'am," Pa said. He turned to me and said, "Matt, go bring in enough to last awhile. Let's get that fire up to size and heat this place up."

I wasn't the same person when I went back out to bring in the wood. I had a big lump in my throat and as much as I hate to admit it, there were tears in my eyes too. In my mind I kept seeing those three kids huddled around the fireplace and their mother standing there with tears running down her cheeks with so much gratitude in her heart that she couldn't speak. My heart swelled within me and a joy that I'd never known before, filled my soul. I had given at Christmas many times before, but never when it had made so much difference.

I could see we were literally saving the lives of these people. I soon had the fire blazing, and everyone's spirits soared. The kids started giggling when Pa handed them each a piece of candy and Widow Jensen looked on with a smile that probably hadn't crossed her face for a long time. She finally turned to us. "God bless you," she said. "I know the Lord has sent you. The children and I have been praying that he would send one of his angels to spare us."

In spite of myself, the lump returned to my throat and the tears welled up in my eyes again. I'd never thought of Pa in those exact terms before, but after Widow Jensen mentioned it, I could see that it was probably true. I was sure that a better man than Pa had never walked the earth. I started remembering all the times he had gone out of his way for Ma and me, and many others. The list seemed endless as I thought on it.

Pa insisted that everyone try on the shoes before we left. I was amazed when they all fit, and I wondered how he had known what sizes to get. Then I guessed that if he was on an errand for the Lord, that the Lord would make sure he got the right sizes.

Tears were running down Widow Jensen's face again when we stood up to leave. Pa took each of the kids in his big arms and gave them a hug. ... They clung to him and didn't want us to go. I could see that they missed their Pa, and I was glad that I still had mine.

At the door Pa turned to Widow Jensen and said, "The Mrs. wanted me to invite you and the children over for Christmas dinner tomorrow. The turkey will be more than the three of us can eat, and a man can get cantankerous if he has to eat turkey for too many meals. We'll be by to get you about eleven. It'll be nice to have some little ones around again. Matt, here, hasn't been little for quite a spell." I was the youngest... my two brothers and two sisters had all married and had moved away. Widow Jensen nodded and said, "Thank you, Brother Miles. I don't have to say, may the Lord bless you, I know for certain that He will."

Out on the sled I felt a warmth that came from deep within and I didn't even notice the cold. When we had gone a-ways, Pa turned to me and said, "Matt, I want you to know something. Your Ma and me have been tucking a little money away here and there all year so we could buy that rifle for you, but we didn't have quite enough. Then yesterday a man who owed me a little money from years back came by to make things square.

Your Ma and me were real excited, thinking that now we could get you that rifle, and I started into town this morning to do just that, but on the way I saw little Jakey out scratching in the woodpile with his feet wrapped in those gunny sacks and I knew what I had to do. Son, I spent the money for shoes and a little candy for those children. I hope you understand."

I understood alright... and my eyes became wet with tears again. I understood very well, and I was so glad Pa had done it. Now the rifle seemed very low on my list of priorities. Pa had given me a lot more. He had given me the look on Widow Jensen's face and the radiant smiles of her three children. For the rest of my life, whenever I saw any of the Jensens, or split a block of wood, I remembered, and remembering brought back that same joy I felt riding home beside Pa that night. Pa had given me much more than a rifle that night, he had given me the best Christmas of my life.

Don't be too busy today... share this inspiring message. Merry Christmas and God bless you!

Another CHRISTMAS Story

St. Nicholas:

The exciting archaeological discovery could change the narrative on the burial grounds of St. Nicholas — who Santa Claus is based on.

Agroundbreaking archaeological discovery could potentially rewrite the history of the burial location of St. Nicholas, the saint who inspired the legend of Santa Claus.

Saint Nicholas of Myra — also known as Nicholas of Bari — was born in the maritime city of Patara, in what is modern-day Turkey.

'The discovery of a sarcophagus near the church, which is believed to be the resting place of St. Nicholas, could indicate that this site may indeed be the sacred area in question.'

Saint Nicholas was a Christian bishop celebrated for his generosity, kindness, and numerous miracles. Because of charitable causes — especially toward children — Saint Nicholas was known as the patron saint of children.

To this day, Christians honor Saint Nicholas on Dec. 6 with Saint Nicholas Day or the Feast of Saint Nicholas.

The St. Nicholas Church was erected in 520 AD on the foundations of an older church where St. Nicholas served as bishop in the ancient city of Myra — what is now the modern-day municipality of Demre in Turkey.

Historians had previously said that the remains of St. Nicholas were initially buried in Myra but later transported to Italy.

The Catholic News Agency reported, "Amid the takeover of the Turkish region by the Muslim Seljuks, Nicholas’ bones were purportedly moved by merchants from Myra to Bari in 1087 — and a few bones reportedly made their way to Venice — not long after the Great Schism between Catholics and the Orthodox in 1054."

However, a groundbreaking archaeological discovery is challenging the narrative of the final resting place of Saint Nicholas.

A team of archaeologists has made an eye-opening discovery of a "surprise" sarcophagus in Turkey that could rewrite the history of St. Nicholas. The archaeologists say they have unearthed a special sarcophagus at the St. Nicholas Church in Demre that could be the burial ground of St. Nicholas.

"We believe that we have encountered a sarcophagus to be in situ (original position) for the first time," proclaimed associate professor Ebru Fatma Findik, who is heading the excavation team through Hatay Mustafa Kemal University's Department of Art History.

The sarcophagus was reportedly found in the church’s two-story annex.

"While drilling inside the structure, we encountered a surprise sarcophagus," Findik stated. "We are working inside the 20-meter-long, two-story structure that borders the church courtyard from the south. This work, among the undecorated sarcophagus group, is made of local stone and has a slightly high barrel roof."

Findik noted of the promising archaeological find, "According to initial evaluations, its similarity to the types of sarcophagi in the region is striking."

"The discovery of a sarcophagus near the church, which is believed to be the resting place of St. Nicholas, could indicate that this site may indeed be the sacred area in question," Findik continued. "We can say that we have reached archaeological evidence that confirms historical sources about St. Nicholas' burial place being in the city's sacred area."

Findik told Daily Sabah, "Our biggest hope is to find an inscription on the sarcophagus. This would help clarify the burial contents and allow us to determine the exact period it dates from. While the lid of the sarcophagus has been uncovered, only a small section of the burial chamber has been exposed, and further excavation is expected to reveal more details in the coming months."

"The fact that a sarcophagus has been unearthed very close to the church that is thought to contain the tomb of St. Nicholas excites us greatly," Findik said.

Archaeology experts also discovered several "terracotta oil lamp fragments and animal bones," which they say indicates that it is a burial site.

However, Findik conceded that the exact location of Saint Nicholas’ burial remains uncertain.

Findik and his team will continue to excavate the area around the ancient church in an effort to contribute to his country’s tourism.

The project is financed by Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Dr. William Makis MD

Only a few days after this picture was taken in 2015, my family was viciously attacked by a dozen Alberta Health Services Executives and Managers, who had conspired to destroy my cancer program, murder my cancer patients, and end my medical career and my family.

It was a level of evil I was not prepared for. I had never encountered it. And I was completely caught off guard. They hit me when I returned to work from Christmas holidays, having planned the hit job just before Christmas.

Over the following 9 years, over 100 of Alberta’s elite and wealthy individuals (and their minions) lent a helping hand to the destruction of my family. Government Officials, Hospital CEOs, Judges, lawyers, University Presidents, Law Society Presidents, College of Physicians Presidents, CEOs, Health Ministers and even Premiers of the Province.

No one cared that they were helping to destroy a young family. A doctor at the start of his career. They just played their part like a mindless cog in a giant machine.

No one cared that over $10 million Alberta taxpayer dollars in legal fees went into attempts to destroy me and my family. Money flushed down the toilet. Money stolen from Alberta Cancer patient Care. Not one politician said a word. They just signed the checks.

I watched as the perpetrators sat on the board of the Alberta Cancer Foundation, holding yearly galas and fundraising millions of dollars for “Cancer Research”, money that disappeared immediately.

I watched as the perpetrators received awards, medals, promotions and rose up the ranks for what they did to my family. Law Society President Don Cranston. Alberta Court of Appeal Chief Justice Ritu Khullar. University of Alberta Vice President Steven Dew. Premier Danielle Smith’s govt official Brent Windwick (former AHS Senior lead counsel). I can list over a 100 of these criminals, almost all of whom are still deeply embedded in Alberta’s Institutions. Healthcare. Courts. Government. Media.

I can still see their smiling faces as they tortured my family and we were left to suffer in the dark while they reaped the rewards of their abusive and often illegal behavior. Treated like Alberta’s finest citizens, they were demons from the darkest parts of hell. To date, not one of them held accountable for what they did.

For many years it felt utterly hopeless. Was everyone in this Province of Alberta corrupt? Was everyone willing to hurt someone to advance their career? Yes, they were. God protected my family. God gave me strength and eventually, God gave me new tools.

It took a while. It tested my patience, and my strength. The COVID-19 pandemic was actually a relief. For once, I wasn’t battling these demons alone. And suddenly others saw the curtain pulled back and the horrors that had been hidden from the public.

They were no longer just coming for me. They were coming for all of you. They were coming for your children.

The Future

It’s 2024 and these evil people haven’t gone anywhere. And they’ve hurt thousands of people, not just my young family, and they continue to hurt children, pregnant women, young people in Colleges and Universities.

But something has changed. My family no longer suffers alone, in the darkness.

There is an entire army now, fighting this evil. And you’re all part of that army. God’s army.

On this Christmas Day, I am extremely thankful.

I am thankful for all of you and your support, I am thankful for my Twitter followers and friends, my Cancer patients, my Independent Media Friends, my fellow healthcare workers and all freedom minded allies, everyone who has donated and supported my family. I am thankful for each of you.

I feel we are turning this world around. And from a very dark place.

This Christmas feels very hopeful and bright. And I wish that hope and brightness for you and your families.

May God bless you all.

FRANCE... ISLAMIST DANGER

French President Emmanuel Macron has launched a crackdown on what he calls Islamist separatism and radical Islam in the country following deadly jihadist attacks in recent years by foreign and homegrown militants. The measures aim to limit foreign influence over Muslim institutions in France.

Nearly seven million Muslims live in France, around 10% of the population, according to data by France’s statistics agency. Islam is the country’s second-largest religion after Catholicism.

NEWPhotos of Hunter and Joe Biden Meeting with Chinese Officials Emerge, Massive Cover-Up Exposed

By Bonchie

Christmas came early for the conservative legal foundation "America First Legal" after the National Archives finally released long sought-after pictures of Joe and Hunter Biden meeting with Chinese officials. The president has long insisted he never facilitated nor had any involvement in his troubled son's business dealings.

Yet, a series of photos taken during Joe Biden's time as vice president paint a very different story.

The pictures were taken in 2013 during a government-sponsored trip to Asia, and they show Hunter Biden being introduced to high-level Chinese officials, including President Xi Jinping and then-Vice President Li Yuanchao. This story just gets worse from there.

Perhaps Hunter Biden meeting Xi Jinping on a taxpayer-funded trip could be brushed aside as a normal formality while escorting his father. Of course, there's no reason whatsoever to give the Bidens that benefit of the doubt, and there's plenty of reason to suspect the introduction was far more nefarious. But what can't be hand-waved away is that Joe Biden was then pictured meeting with Hunter Biden's business associates, including Chinese businessman Jonathan Li.

For those unacquainted with Li, he and the Bidens helped arrange the transfer of stealth technology to a blacklisted Chinese military manufacturer. No, that's not the plot line of a movie. That actually happened, and there has been zero accountability in the aftermath of those revelations. With Joe Biden's recent pardoning of his son, that's unlikely to change.

RedState's Jennifer Van Laar exposed the aforementioned deal through her original reporting back in 2020. In 2023, Devon Archer, one of Hunter Biden's business associates, confirmed her reporting surrounding Li and the Bidens while testifying before Congress. These newly released pictures provide the final piece of evidence that the meetings did take place.

Notably, lawyers representing Joe Biden and Barack Obama worked with the National Archives to stop these photos from being released before the 2024 election. That alone would be treated as a major news story if we were talking about a Republican. The size of the cover-up here is immense, spanning former and current presidents along with US federal agencies.

Unfortunately, as is to be expected, mainstream "news" outlets have no interest in digging deeper into what is legitimately the biggest presidential scandal in modern history. You've got pictures of a vice president using taxpayer money to introduce his son to Chinese officials, some of which the Bidens would become entangled with professionally, including the reception of large sums of money. Then once Joe Biden became president, he weaponized the National Archives (just as he did against Donald Trump) to stop the release of damaging evidence to protect himself and his party politically.

Lastly, just as everything was starting to unwind, Joe Biden gave his son a full pardon spanning back to 2012 for any possible crime committed to put the final touch on the cover-up. If that's not worse than Watergate, I don't know what is.

Republicans don't need to let this go. While legal accountability may be off the table, exposing the rank corruption and criminal activity of the Biden family is an important endeavor. The American people deserve the truth, and the Democratic Party needs to pay a high political price for this.

What The New York Times thinks is smart and groundbreaking in 2024, after several centuries of Western "experts" trying to prove the Bible is all made up... must be FRUSTRATING! Eh!

NEW YORK (AP) — The challenge of photographing Christmastime in New York is that there is so much of it.

The big tree in Rockefeller Center. Ice skating in Central Park. The Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. All those lavish, holiday-themed department store window displays.

This is the iconic New York tourists come to see. Visitors know it well from movies and television.

But millions of New Yorkers experience these remarkable sights in a different way. For them, this is home. Those department stores might be where they shop for presents. That famous rink might be where they take their kid to skate after school.

Over several weeks, Associated Press photographer Julia Nikhinson found ways to document both the familiar and unfamiliar sides of the holiday season in the city.
