Dear God:
💥💥Even when my life feels chaotic, I can experience Your peace because of what Jesus did on the cross. Thank You for making this possible by sending us Your Son! He has made a way for us to know and experience You.
Even when life feels out of control, I can cling to the truth that Your peace isn’t based on my feelings or circumstances—but on Your character and faithfulness.
When I don’t feel at peace, please make Your presence known to me. Remind me that You’re in control. Give me Your strength and comfort when the world feels unsafe. Protect my heart and mind from the weight of my feelings and thoughts.
Allow me to sense Your presence, and to live with confidence that You are always near. Let my life be an example of Your peace that surpasses understanding.

New Brunswick backtracks on vaccine passports for grocery stores:
💥💥After sustained pressure by True North and its readers, the New Brunswick government has announced it is no longer allowing grocery stores to bar unvaccinatedCanadians.
The announcement came Friday in a government news release on interim COVID measures directed at slowing the Omicron variant.
“An option allowing stores that sell groceries to ask patrons 12 and over for proof of vaccination, instead of implementing distancing requirements, is being removed from the province’s mandatory order.”

Faith & Knowledge: Chicken & Egg:
💥💥We live in an Information Age committed to learning. We go to bible studies. We read blogs, social media and emails informing each other about real vs fake news, history, science, religion etc. Has all this knowledge gotten us anywhere? Only 6% of self-professing Christians have a Biblical World-View, and our society is so confused about politics, economics and science we're a collapsing house divided against itself. In God's kingdom knowledge follows faith. Isaiah 7:9 tells us, "if ye believe not, neither will ye understand" (Brenton Septuagint). The good news is that our "here and now" can look like the happy "there and then".
I mean, there, in Russia, where faith is not a matter of knowing the right doctrine but living the right culture. They love tradition... traditional families, traditional art, traditional music, traditional medicines, and yes, traditional religion. They tried the new ways of the 20th century which failed them and are now failing us. They're a "together" people.
I mean, there in Africa, where evangelists like Reinhard Bonnke introduced millions to Christ and saw healing miracles you couldn't deny, like dead people coming back to life. Catholic children were doing the same thing in the next neighboring African country. No vaccinations and no covid viruses. (Omnicron is a flu carried to South Africa by tourists). These are just two places on other continents where God is alive and well and churches are being built daily (if they aren't destroyed by Jihadist enemies).
I mean, then, in centuries past when there were great miracle-filled revivals such as the Welsh Revival that spread throughout the British Empire, so life-changing that the editor of the London Times complained there was no bad news to report. When it hit the USA we saw the Great Awakenings, where whole towns would be converted. People would just show up by the hundreds to hear Protestant preachers: George Whitefield, Jonathan Edwards, and Dwight Moody. Wave after wave of revivals lasted for two centuries.
And I mean, then, when missionaries brought not only healing and holiness but schools, hospitals, science, encyclopedias of the ancient world, welfare programs, and modern farming methods that freed the aboriginal peoples from enslavement to cruel human-eating shamans.
It comes down to this. Pure religion isn't just taught, it's caught. It's to be acted on, from the heart, with love for others, not intellectually stored like a buried talent of gold. It's what people see that counts as much as what they hear. As one Roman report to the emperor said, "These Christians show such love for each other and strangers that one could almost be converted without hearing a word."
And they made Roman citizens so ashamed of themselves the Coliseum was never used again for feeding people to the lions. Dying Christians converted the souls of those watching. The peace of the martyrs was beyond understanding.
All our information clutters our prayers with our agenda. We ask Him to bless it, use it, fix it, everything but take it from us. He wants to give us a new ride in the Spirit. Use your imagination. See your sins as God sees them so He can remove them, one by one (not all at once necessarily) as we get closer to Him. Pray for the world as God sees it. Remember our history as God remembers it, not as secular historians have taught us. (Read What If Jesus Had Never Been Born by James Kennedy… Patrick 7 I have copies if you would like one) Join with the saints and angels in heaven in rejoicing. (Moses and Elijah are as eager to join with us in Jesus now as they were with Jesus then.)
I attach two exercises that have really helped me to energize my prayers and take away the burdens that held me down. Don't be overwhelmed by the list of Reasons for Unanswered Prayer. I believe God will identify the most important thing(s) he wants us to deal with as we ascend to Him in Heaven, and He will overlook a multitude of lesser sins (especially when we confess them). It's when we ignore them, he ignores us. As long as we're working our way through the list, it's like climbing a mountain. The goal is to make us mountain climbers, not watch us fall off the cliff. We'll never be "good enough" as Jesus told the Pharisees, but we'll be perfected i.e. conformed to his image, enough to be perfect examples of what discipleship looks like. Hang on to the ropes as you keep climbing my friends. Then move on to the next kind of prayer that will bring us back down to earth interceding for others, and finally into complete thankfulness for all that we have inherited from the saints of the past, including the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
