Doctors Suspended for Speaking Against Covid Mandates:
It appeared in various papers across Canada (who insert) the National Post.
'Is it for notoriety, is it because of ideology, is it because they think their practice is going to benefit from it? Who knows?'
The Toronto-area physician refused to wear a mask and urged patients to remove theirs, saying they actually did harm. He told them the pandemic was a media-driven hoax designed to profit the likes of Bill Gates, that COVID test results were being sold to China for DNA sequencing and parents should sue schools if they make their kids wear face-coverings.
Ontario’s medical regulator suspended Matheson’s license for nine months recently, calling his actions “disgraceful, dishonourable and unprofessional.”
But the COVID-denying MD is hardly alone.
Throughout the pandemic, complaints have poured into colleges of physicians and surgeons accusing doctors of flouting public-health rules, promoting conspiracy theories, prescribing unproven treatments, and issuing bogus vaccine-exemption letters.
In Alberta, six physicians have already had their practices restricted because of such actions, while in B.C. one doctor has been suspended and another cited. Ontario’s college says it has launched at least 70 investigations.
Even so, there’s concern about whether regulators are doing enough to curb the problem, while some of the impugned physicians insist the regulatory actions are anti-free speech.
It just confuses and clouds the public perception of what the evidence actually says
The various cases raise another vexing question, too.
How does a medical professional who’s undergone years of science-based training adopt such evidence-defying ideas?
“I find it absolutely fascinating,” says Tim Caulfield, a health law and policy professor at the University of Alberta with a focus on pseudoscience. “Is it for notoriety, is it because of ideology, is it because they think their practice is going to benefit from it? Who knows? I think sometimes it’s all of the above.”
Matheson, whose license suspension was recommended as part of an agreement between him and the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, could not be reached for comment. In the latest case, as well as the suspension, he was directed not to give COVID advice to patients contrary to that of public-health authorities and the provincial government.

Wrong. The lefties should have thrown a few small mats on the big empty floor, because you could travel for days without seeing a soul!
My great grandfather, A.P. Patrick, was the first white man out west in Canada and wrote about it. He worked for Sir John A. Macdonald and pulled the drunken prime minister out of many pubs. He made friends with Sitting Bull when the chief of the Lakota Sioux nation escaped to Canada, and my great grandpa learned the Indian passageway through the mountains so the railway could cross the Rockies. And, as a surveyor, he mapped the first reserves. He was there when the chiefs chuckled and negotiated treaties to sell the Canadian government empty lands the tribes weren't using anyway. He saw greedy chiefs and corrupt Canadian government officials grease each other’s palms in the deals. Doctrine of Discovery be damned! Biden Met with no fewer than 14 of Son’s Business Associates while VP:
Despite President Joe Biden’s repeated denials that he had any knowledge of – let alone involvement with – his son Hunter’s spurious foreign business dealings, a recent review of White House visitor logs and other records reveals a very different story, according to Fox News.
As the outlet notes, Biden explicitly stated in back in 2019, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” but this latest tranche of information – together with prior data taken from Hunter Biden’s infamously abandoned laptop – gives lie to that story in an unmistakable way.
A recent review conducted by Fox News Digital showed that the senior Biden met with no fewer than 14 individuals with whom his son was involved in business negotiations or deals, including some from Mexico, China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and right here in the United States.
Official visitor logs from the Obama White House show that Mexican businessmen Miguel Aleman Velasco and Miguel Magnani – associates of Hunter’s — paid a visit to the premises in early 2014, and then-Vice President Biden was photographed together with his son, providing a tour of the facility’s press room.
A series of additional contacts among the men ensued, though eventually, Hunter Biden expressed irritation with Magnani for an apparent lack of follow-up on proposed ventures, writing in an email, “I have brought every single person you have ever asked me to bring to the F’ing White House and the Vice President’s house and the inauguration and then you go completely silent.”
Fox News noted that Joe Biden also held meetings with the former president of Colombia and Hunter Biden‘s business partner, Eric Schwerin, at the Naval Observatory – the official residence of the vice president – in 2012, as well as with his son’s business associates from Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, events which to which the participants referred with gratitude in subsequent written communications.
As the New York Post recently reported, newly-reviewed materials from the controversial laptop computer Hunter Biden left behind in a Delaware repair show that the first son conferred with his father on no fewer than 30 different occasions between 2008 and 2016, either at the White House or the Naval Observatory, often doing so in the immediate aftermath of overseas business trips that have since been the subject of much speculation and scrutiny.
Even so, President Biden has continued to issue strenuous denials of involvement – often through his White House spokespeople, but that position grew even more tenuous when earlier this summer, the Washington Examiner reported on a voicemail message he left for Hunter that contained words of reassurance that amid the release of a New York Times article on the latter’s involvement with a Chinese energy firm, he was likely off the hook in terms of further risk of legal or public relations concerns.
As the mountain of contradictory evidence continues to build against Biden’s claims of ignorance when it comes to his son’s nefarious dealings, it remains to be seen just how long the president and his handlers will continue to expect the American public to turn a blind eye to the glaring truth that is out in the open for all to see. Ukraine is winning the war against Russia and will be "potentially winning decisively," political strategist and author Dick Morris said on Newsmax Saturday.
"For a while in May, June, and July, when Russia shifted its focus to Donbas, the Ukrainians were on the hills and the Russians seemed to be gaining," Morris, author of the book "The Return: Trump's Big 2024 Comeback," said on Newsmax's "The Count."
"But lately, the Ukrainians have been very successful in fighting back and encounter attacking and part of that is because of the arrival of advanced weapons from the United States and NATO so that they are outclassing the Russians in terms of their ability to fight."
Meanwhile, there is the "possibility of a mass surrender" of thousands of Russian troops as the result of fighting in the Kherson region, where Ukraine said Saturday it has killed numerous Russian soldiers, said Morris.
Rail traffic has been cut over the Dnipro River to Kherson, according to reports, potentially isolating Russian forces west of the river from obtaining supplies from Crimea and the east.
"That might have a tremendous impact on Russian public opinion and make it impossible to ignore their battlefield reverses," said Morris. "The basic thrust of it is that Ukraine is winning. It's doing very well and the motivation of its troops and its equipment is better."

In the long term, the vaccinated are far more susceptible to any mutations in the spike protein, even if they have already been infected and cured once or more. The unvaccinated, on the other hand, will gain lasting, if not permanent, immunity to all strains of the alleged virus after being naturally infected with it even once.

A third official Conservative Party leadership debate has been scheduled for August 3. This was the choice of 65 percent of CPC members who voted. The debate is mandatory for all. Failure to attend is a $50,000 fine.
Mr. Poilievre has announced that he is not going to attend and is deliberately choosing to pay the fine. (Not with his own money, of course.)
It appears that his confidence is fading as his favorability rating is falling.
Debating the most qualified candidate in this race - Jean Charest - would be daunting for most, but perhaps it is more than that.
Pierre has a manufactured image. Almost exclusively, on social media. His videos are not just rehearsed but choreographed - practiced over-and-over again. Then shot with many “takes,” just like the movies or TV.
