There’s a TIME to...

Solomon wisely said, "There's a time to tear and a time to mend".  A farmer knows the wisdom of all eight verses in Ecclesiastes 3, starting with "a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot".  A surgeon knows that if planting pills and nutrition was not enough, then it's time for cutting as painlessly as possible.  Friends, I believe we are in the mid-zone between planting and harvest, between treatment and surgery.  Let us look carefully beyond the symptoms, to pray and prepare for the ultimate solution to our complaints.

 

 

For instance, when a person is suffering from addiction or disease, it's not good enough to just pray for the symptoms to go away or be healed.  We must be ready to change the way city council or the hospital functions.  This can mean tearing the system apart.  When a family is suffering from stubborn attitudes or selfishness over a long period of time despite the best attempts to correct it, we must be ready to make drastic changes such as separation in marriage, or eviction of the young from the nest the way eagles teach their offspring to fly.  (I'm not talking about adults who need to take care of aging parents.)

 

Here's how we must act in the time of preparation for the harvest, a last chance to get our act together as individuals, as families, as communities and as nations.  

 

Wounded soldiers do not fight well.  Neither do new recruits.  Healing and new growth must come before equipping.  Many pastors, councillors, managers and politicians think their job is just to equip people better for success.  But the first step is not equipping everyone in the same way with the same opportunities such as new programs, new laws and regulations, or even new jobs. 

 

The first step for beginners is just that, the first step, like teaching a baby to walk.  We inspire the child to walk by holding our arms out in front of each step, smiling with encouraging words.  Long term commitments are scary.  Initiate short-term projects and goals to get started, with a chance to do makeovers like the way schools used to function before graduation was guaranteed; the tardy could repeat a year.  Offer retreats to inspire groups. 

 

Make plans for improvement gradually longer, like tougher expeditions for soldiers in training.  Raise the bar slowly.  "Too whom much is given, much is expected."  Then, if there are still problems, only as a last resort do you confront the negligent with a warning of "excommunication" (being discharged, evicted, fired, separated, jailed, shunned etc).

 

There's an old native story about a man who struggled for victory in his life.  He said, "I feel like there are two dogs inside of me, a white dog and a black dog and they are always fighting each other."  He was asked, "Which one wins?".  He answered, "Which ever one I feed the most". 

 

That's a good example of how most humans struggle with inner conflicts, and it's a good answer for getting things under control.  But as a Christian I have learned that it's not good enough.  We must starve the black dog to death.  Subdue the old man inside us who has the seeds of destruction. 

 

Otherwise, we commit the sin of overconfidence, biting off more than you can chew, feeding the white dog so much it gets fat and lazy.  This is the sin of the Jews who did not recognize Jesus as Messiah.  They had delusions of grandeur.  They expected a savior who would conquer the Romans for them.  Jesus came that they might have his life to conquer the empire with love and internal healing.  Little things, little steps, mean a lot in God's economy.  

 

What drew the pagans to Christianity was how they cared for the weak and sick and castoffs in society, the babies left under bridges for the wolves, the lame and orphans taken into homes and places that became caring hospitals and asylums (before the state took them over).  In time Christian kings emerged that were just as caring.  Bad ones too of course, we all know about them.  Historians are like modern news media, "if it bleeds it leads".  

 

The past five years have been a time of awakening to the failures of modernists, progressives, Hollywood producers, educators and politicians who have no respect for past values and accomplishments.  These evolutionists believe the ends justify the means, even lying to prove a point. 

 

The time has come to challenge them, not inspire them, to tear down, not "build back better" as the globalists promised.  It may seem like we are embracing chaos so the phoenix can rise out of the ashes, but we must embrace order to revive Christendom so Jesus can return to finish where he left off.

Liberals to vote for new leader Mar. 9 with tightened membership rules:


The next Liberal leader—and Canada’s next prime minister—will be chosen Mar. 9.

The Liberal Party of Canada announced Thursday that its leadership election would conclude on Mar. 9, just two months later, with the winner announced on the same day.

Contestants for the leadership race must declare their participation by Jan. 23. To join, they’ll be forced to fork over an entrance fee of $350,000.

 

Anyone hoping to vote in the leadership election must become a registered party member by Jan. 27. The party said it must post the registration procedures for the vote at least 27 days before it occurs. 

The Liberals have also implemented membership restrictions so only Canadian citizens and permanent residents over the age of 14 will be able to join the party and vote in the leadership election. This brings their rules into alignment with those of the Conservative Party of Canada.

 

True North previously reported that the Liberal party’s membership rules left the party vulnerable to foreign interference, because anyone—regardless of citizenship or residency status—was permitted to take out a membership, including international students.

“Protecting the integrity of our democratic process, while still engaging as many people as possible, is one of the Liberal Party of Canada’s top priorities,” reads a release from the party.


Political scientist and former Conservative Party of Canada leadership election organizing committee chair Ian Brodie told True North that something needed to change, considering  China’s past meddling in the Liberal nomination process.

 

“Yes, there are good reasons to worry about the Liberal rules. The party has done nothing to clean up the rules that allowed Chinese diplomats to bus Chinese students studying in Canada to Han Dong’s nomination meeting. In fact, they seem to think this is a model for how Liberal decisions should be made,” Brodie told True North.

Various Canadians on X showcased how easy it was to register as Liberals ahead of the leadership race. Numerous users registered under fake aliases like their dogs and using fake addresses, such as the Prime Minister’s residence. 

One user signed up as Xi Jinping, the President of the People’s Republic of China, while another signed up from an IP in Europe.

 

Anyone who is a member of another federal political party in Canada cannot become a registered member of the Liberals. Also, the press release said that members must “support the purposes of the party.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that he would resign once a successor is chosen. Therefore, if the Liberals’ leadership election goes as planned, Canada will have a new Prime Minister by Mar. 9. 

 

Parliament is prorogued until Mar. 24, meaning Canada’s new leader will have two weeks to ready their troops for a potential non-confidence vote upon its resumption.

Jihadis and Iran-axis supporters are proclaiming that the wildfires that have been ravaging the Los Angeles area, displacing thousands of people and wreaking widespread destruction, including in built-up areas, are punishment and revenge from Allah.

 

Drawing from religious texts, the wildfires were celebrated by people, including Salafi jihadis, and media outlets affiliated with Iran as one of "Allah's soldiers" sent to the U.S. for its "arrogance," its support of Israel, and its "war on Islam and Muslims."

Yemen's Houthis Share Cartoons Mocking U.S.

On January 10, 2025, a Telegram channel linked to Lebanese Hizbullah posted a cartoon mocking President Trump standing in front of a lectern with his back to the wildfires threatening that the "doors of hell will open" if the hostages in Gaza are not released by his inauguration on January 20. The cartoon was later shared by the official Telegram channel of Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) Movement, along with the comment: "Trump and hell in California."

Shortly after, the Houthis shared a drawing by cartoonist Ali Al-Shara showing Uncle Sam using a flamethrower stamped with the Israeli flag on Gaza and looking in a panic at the California wildfire approaching behind him.


Iran-Backed Outlet:

"Trump Threatened Gaza with Hell... Two Days Later, America Turned into An Inferno" 

A Telegram channel supportive of the Iran-backed axis of resistance, shared an infographic with images of wildfires and Trump's "hell" remark about hostages in Gaza. It reads in part: "Will the Middle East turn into hell?... Two days later, America [itself] turned into an inferno." The channel said that social media users ha­­­­­d likened the level of devastation in Los Angeles to the destruction of homes, schools, and hospitals of Gaza.


Prolific Iraqi Militia-Linked Telegram Channel: "Indeed, It Is Allah's Command"

On January 10, a Telegram channel affiliated with the Iran-backed militias in Iraq shared footage of people in the fire-ravaged areas, and mocked how "women's handbags" are used to put the fire out, claiming that the firefighting department "had collapsed completely." "Indeed, it is Allah's command," the post declared.


Abu Qatadah Al-Filastini: "A Divine Gift to Welcome Trump"

On January 9, Jordan-based pro-Al-Qaeda ideologue Abu Qatadah Al-Filastini wrote commentary on his Telegram channel gleefully celebrating the California wildfires as reminder of Allah's "signs" to people. "A divine gift to welcome Trump for threatening Gaza," he stated.

 

Abu Qatadah further argued against the opinion that Muslims should not rejoice over enemies' calamities: "Calamities keep enemies preoccupied with themselves [and away] from harming Muslims," noting that forbidding such schadenfreude contradicts established religious texts and Quran citations on this matter.

 

Syrian Cleric: Wildfires Are Normal Acts Of Nature; Attention Should Rather Turn To Forthcoming Significant Political Developments In U.S. And Surroundings

On January 10, Syrian jihadi cleric Abu Yahya Al-Shami wrote on his Telegram channel: "The Los Angeles wildfires are a normal act of nature, do not pay much attention to it." Rather, he argued that "significant political developments are expected to occur in the United States and its surroundings, which will have a major global impact."


Canada-Based Cleric Laments Low Casualty Toll From Fires

Also on the same day, January 10, a pro-Al-Qaeda cleric based in the West shared an English report on the extent of damage due to the deadly wildfires in Los Angeles. He wrote: "Allah made them taste the exact torment they inflicted on Gaza. Even if human casualties are not high enough to heal the breasts of Believers, but renowned celebrities such as Harrison Ford and James Woods lost their homes! Praise be to Allah Almighty."

B.C. orders database Destruction after Professor Presents Controversial Housing Study:

The B.C. government instructed an academic to destroy his database after he presented findings on a better way to house substance users.

Wow, more than one study indicated that the best approach is to have those whose lives are out of control adopt a totally healthy living environment around normal people.  Teen Challenge anyone?

 

In the Old Testament they had "cities of refuge" for criminals which could be compared to our shelters and "supportive housing facilities".  But they also had a type of indentured servitude whereby someone in trouble or poverty could be taken in as a household "slave" for a period of time.  Often the individual in trouble wanted to work and live permanently in the family.  Think about that as you read the link above.

After eking out a narrow win in last month’s election, B.C. Premier David Eby has pledged to prioritize voters’ top concerns — housing, affordability and the drug crisis — in his next administration.  

Yet, the NDP government’s plans to boost housing and support individuals with addiction do not align with the key findings of a housing study conducted by a leading academic in the province.

 

Dr. Julian Somers, a clinical psychologist and professor at Simon Fraser University, says a $30-million project he conducted found that enabling people with a substance use disorder to choose where they live leads to better recovery outcomes than placing individuals in group housing.

“Living in a good-quality apartment in a regular neighbourhood challenged [drug users’] self-perception as ‘loners’ or ‘outcasts,’ fostering a sense of belonging,” the article by Somers and a team of Simon Fraser University researchers says.

 

Somers says he was ordered to delete his research database shortly after briefing B.C. government officials on his study findings.

“What I was saying was in conflict with how they had already … committed to spending … basically growing the status quo,” said Somers.

The B.C. Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General acknowledges that Somers was ordered to destroy his research. But the department claims the data from Somers’ database have been integrated into a new platform with broader access.

 

The B.C. Ministry of Housing told Canadian Affairs it favours group housing because it is easier to provide on-site services — such as overdose prevention — to residents. It also noted that B.C. “has invested in numerous forms of research and data collection for evidence-based policy design.”

‘Noise, violence, bugs, and chaos’

 

In 2013, Somers was commissioned by Simon Fraser University to conduct a six-year, randomized trial involving 497 individuals facing homelessness, addiction and mental illness. Health Canada and the Mental Health Commission of Canada provided grants to fund the study.

In the trial, participants were divided into three groups.

 

Participants in the first group were able to choose where to live. These participants received personalized assistance, including mental health care and help with grocery shopping. 

The study refers to this option as “scattered, choice-based housing.”

Participants in this group saw improvements in their mental health, sense of security and self, and community connection. Some highlighted the benefits of living in a “normal” environment compared to the “noise, violence, bugs and chaos” often associated with shelters and rooming houses.

 

While many participants in this group continued to struggle with substance use, two reported complete cessation of hard drug use and many reported reduced substance use. Others reported significant periods of sobriety.

In the second group, participants lived with other individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges in a single building. The study refers to this option as a “congregate supportive housing facility.”

 

Many of the individuals in this second group reported feeling isolated due to the stigma of living in distressed neighbourhoods, where such housing is typically located in B.C. This environment reinforced “feelings of separation from the larger community” and limited personal freedom and integration, the study says.

The third group remained homeless and received the government’s standard level of care, such as short-term crisis interventions like emergency shelters and access to food banks.

 

The participants in choice-based housing experienced a 71 per cent reduction in criminal convictions and a 45 per cent reduction in medical emergencies such as overdoses. In contrast, the second and third groups showed no such improvements.

 

“Agency — having choice — was crucial in order to support autonomy. Neighbours were essential to promoting healthy social norms,” Somers told Canadian Affairs in an interview.

“Both components are missing from interventions that direct people to live with others who struggle with trauma, lack of autonomy [and] lack of exposure to healthy norms.”

 

Somers’ study findings were published in a 2014 issue of the peer-reviewed Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal.

A 2018 report by the government agency BC Housing had similar findings. It compared scattered, choice-based and congregate housing for vulnerable youth. 

The report showed that while choice-based housing could be more expensive, it helped avoid a “contagion effect,” where youth were exposed to others using drugs.

‘They’ had to take down the existing City in order to build the PLANNED ’15-Minute’ City and RAPID TRANSIT System.

A coalition of planners, architects, and advocates think Los Angeles—“the ultimate car city”—can become a 15-minute city. That is, with better planning, most residents could reach their daily needs within a 15-minute walking, biking, or public transit trip, reports Erin Stone in LAist.

 

According to Jenny Hontz of the Livable Communities Initiative, “cars are a culprit when it comes to high rents: cities require developers to build parking spots with housing. In L.A., each spot can cost more than $50,000, upping rent prices.” Consequently, “Higher costs push Angelenos out of the city and into longer commutes, adding to planet-heating emissions. According to 2019 census data, 13% of Angelenos who commuted to the Westside for work drove more than 50 miles to get there.”

 

The coalition argues that “building smaller housing developments without parking, close to jobs and public transit, coupled with redesigning streets to be more walkable and bikeable, would lower rents and pollution.”

As the article notes, “Implementing the plan doesn't come without obstacles: among other things, it will require rezoning certain areas, dealing with legal challenges and red tape, and dropping the requirement to build parking, in addition to political and industry buy-in.” But with Los Angeles including it in the city’s housing element, it could have legs.

 

Culver City, a small, incorporated city on L.A.’s west side, “is on its way to implementing many of the ideas and possibly also working it into their general plan.” Meanwhile, a proposed state bill could eliminate parking requirements for small developments.

Victory Against Fani Willis!

JUDICIAL WATCH VICTORY: Court Awards Judicial Watch $21,578 in Fees and Costs in Fani Willis Lawsuit.

The Superior Court in Fulton County, GA, issued an order granting $21,578 “attorney’s fees and costs” in our open records lawsuit for communications Willis had with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee. The order followed a previous order finding that Willis was in default in the lawsuit.

 

We filed this lawsuit in March 2024 after Willis falsely denied having any records responsive to our earlier Georgia Open Records Act (ORA) request for communications with Special Counsel Jack Smiths office and/or the January 6 Committee (Judicial Watch Inc. v. Fani Willis et al. (No. 24-CV-002805)).

 

After finding Willis in default, the court ordered a hearing on December 20, which resulted in the latest order finding Willis liable for fees and expenses that “shall be paid within two weeks of the entry of this Order.”


The order recounts the timeline of events after we filed our records request:

Plaintiff [Judicial Watch] submitted an Open Records Act (ORA) request to Defendant on 22 August 2023 by way of Fulton County’s ORA on-line “portal”. That same day, Plaintiff received confirmation that its request had been delivered and would be channeled to the “appropriate department” (presumably the District Attorney’s Office). The following day, the County’s Open Records Custodian sent Plaintiff [Judicial Watch] an email confirming that the District Attorney’s Office had received the inquiry and asking Plaintiff to “simplify” its ORA [Open Records Act] request….


Literally five minutes later, before any simplification had occurred, Plaintiff received a second e-mail from the Records Custodian: “After carefully reviewing your request. (sic) We do not have the responsive records.”This response was perplexing and eventually suspicious to Plaintiff, given that Plaintiff subsequently uncovered through own effort at least one document that should have been in the District Attorney’s Office’s possession that was patently responsive to the request.

Defendant [Willis] ultimately defaulted and this Court entered an Order on 2 December 2024 directing Defendant “to conduct a diligent search of her records for responsive materials” and to provide any responsive records that were not legally exempted from disclosure….


Defendant’s compliance with the Court’s 2 December Order consisted of an undated, unsigned two-page memo to Plaintiff from Defendant’s “Open Records Department.” … In this memo, Defendant announced that there still were no records responsive to one set of Plaintiff’s requests (communications with former Special Counsel Jack Smith) but that there were in fact records responsive to Plaintiff’s second set of requests (communications with the United States House January 6th Committee) – but those were exempt from disclosure….


Despite having previously informed Plaintiff four separate times that her team had carefully searched but found no responsive records, now there suddenly were – but they were not subject to disclosure under the ORA….The ORA is not hortatory; it is mandatory. Non-compliance has consequences. One of them can be liability for the requesting party’s attorney’s fees and costs of litigation.

 

The court concludes its criticism of Willis’ actions, stating:

Most basically, by operation of law Defendant acknowledged violating the ORA when she defaulted. But actual evidence proves the same: per her Records Custodian’s own admission, the District Attorney’s Office flatly ignored Plaintiff’s original ORA request, conducting no search and simply (and falsely) informing the County’s Open Records Custodian that no responsive records existed.


We know now that that is simply incorrect: once pressed by a Court order, Defendant managed to identify responsive records, but has categorized them as exempt. Even if the records prove to be just that – exempt from disclosure for sound public policy reasons – this late revelation is a patent violation of the ORA. And for none of this is there any justification, substantial or otherwise: no one searched until prodded by civil litigation.


Given this, the Court finds that relevant and reasonable attorney’s fees and costs of litigation are properly awardable to Plaintiff … Defendant is thus liable to Plaintiff for $21,578 pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 50-18-73(b). That amount shall be paid within two weeks of the entry of this Order.

 

In early December, Willis finally admitted to having records showing communications with the January 6 Committee but refused to release all but one document in response to the court order that found her in default. She cited a series of legal exemptions to justify the withholding of communications with the January 6 Committee. The only document she did release is one already public letter to January 6 Committee Chairman Benny Thompson (D-MS).


We subsequently filed a motion asking the court to appoint a special master to oversee her search for records in our lawsuit and that the court conduct an in camera (private) inspection of any records found.


We stated in our motion that Willis’ response to the order “makes no showing that the search was diligent. Based on her previous searches in this matter, it probably was not diligent. Likewise, she provided no list or even a general description regarding any responsive records she has elected to withhold. Without a list or description, it is impossible to evaluate what, if any, exemptions or exceptions are applicable, as she now contends.”


Regarding the appointment of a special master, we state:

Willis by her own admission conducted at least three searches before finding any responsive records not already supplied by [Judicial Watch]. She did not even bother to conduct a search until the Complaint was filed.


Her records custodian says he does not know the Cellebrite [digital investigations] equipment he apparently had a hand in ordering can be used to search cell phone texts and other data…. Moreover, the custodian had no standard practice for conducting searches and keeps no records of the methods used in a given search.


The foregoing gives rise to grave suspicion that all responsive records have not been found. The Court should appoint a special master to supervise and monitor the record searches. The special master should have authority to audit searches and conduct searches herself.


She also should have authority to hire such consultants and experts as may be needed to execute her commission. The special master should make a recommendation to the Court as to how her fees and expenses should be allocated among the parties, taking into consideration whether she finds responsive records that Willis should have found but did not.

 

Fani Willis’s response to our request for a special master is due January 16, 2025.

Fani Willis flouted the law, and the court is right to slam her and require, at a minimum, the payment of nearly $22,000 to Judicial Watch. But in the end we want the full truth on what she was hiding – her office’s political collusion with the Pelosi January 6 committee to ‘get Trump.’” 


OUTRAGE: Minnesota Supreme Court’s Rejects Lawsuit Challenging Woke Racist Minneapolis Teachers’ Contract

In August 2022, Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Minneapolis taxpayer over a teachers’ contract that provides discriminatory job protections to certain racial minorities. We alleged that the contract violated the Equal Protection Guarantee of the Minnesota Constitution.


The school district, supported by the teachers and other public employee unions, asserted that Minnesota taxpayers do not have the right to challenge the illegal spending of taxpayer money by government officials.

A court of appeals upheld our victory in that suit.


However, the Minnesota Supreme Court has now rejected our lawsuit.

This is beyond the pale. Minneapolis Public Schools is unabashedly discriminating against teachers based on their race, and the school district is using taxpayer dollars to do so.


The Minnesota Supreme Court’s disgraceful decision not only threatens teachers’ jobs but also prevents Minnesota taxpayers (present and future) from holding their government to account. This woke, racially discriminatory contract cannot stand.

We will ask the Trump administration to investigate this blatant civil rights violation and take all necessary steps to ensure teachers do not lose their jobs because of their race.

 

Even in Sanctuary States, Illegals Commit Fraud to Get a Driver’s License

As if it were not bad enough that over a dozen states grant illegal immigrants driver’s licenses, a criminal ring has for years exploited the security vulnerabilities of the leftist policies to obtain licenses for undocumented migrants who live in jurisdictions that do not offer the benefit.


For about $1,400, illegal aliens living in states that prohibit them from obtaining the cards, fraudulently secured them in New York and Massachusetts—both sanctuary states—with the help of five individuals. Federal authorities recently charged them with several crimes, including conspiracy to unlawfully produce and possess with intent to transfer identification documents and possession with intent to use or transfer unlawfully obtained identification.


One of the suspects was also charged with furnishing a false passport.The scheme operated for four years before authorities finally busted it and the criminals conspired to fraudulently apply for licenses for over 1,000 illegal immigrants.


They obtained driver’s licenses for more than 600 migrants and collected at least hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to a federal indictment that says the defendants fabricated and falsified bank statements and bills to make it appear to the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) that illegal aliens resided in the state and to falsely make it appear to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) that undocumented aliens lived at various addresses in that state.


They also created fake driving education certificates of completion and forged the signatures of driving school staff to make it appear that migrants completed the required curriculum.The operation was well organized and complex, according to federal authorities, because obtaining a driver’s license in either state requires residents to first earn a learner’s permit that consists of a written test.


Applicants can take the test online if they provide a photo of themselves completing it and once the learner’s permit has been issued applicants have to finish a driving course before taking the actual test required to get a license. The defendants took the written test online and used photos of the migrant applicants to appear as if they were taking it. Then they provided fake certificates of completion and other false documents to New York DMV and Massachusetts RMV employees that believed the illegal immigrants lived in those states.


The defendants would drive the migrants to apply for the license and have the cards mailed to local addresses where they would retrieve the licenses mailed by the state agencies. Though the ring has been disrupted, “the investigation remains ongoing,” according to a statement issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the District of Massachusetts.


Nineteen states and the District of Columbia allow illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses if they provide documentation such as a foreign birth certificate, foreign passport or consular card and evidence of residency in that state, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. They include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.


In late 2023 Minnesota’s measure, known as Driver’s Licenses for All, became the latest to go into effect. At the time officials estimated that about 80,000 illegal immigrants who were previously disqualified from obtaining the cards in the North Star state would be allowed to get them. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’ running mate, said ensuring that drivers are licensed and carry insurance makes the roads more secure for all Minnesotans.


“As a longtime supporter of this bill, I am proud to finally sign it into law, making our roads safer and moving us toward our goal of making Minnesota the best state to raise a family for everyone,” the Democrat lawmaker said when he proudly signed the measure.As this federal case illustrates, policies enacted by local sanctuary governments to benefit illegal aliens can be easily exploited and go against federal laws meant to protect the nation’s citizens and legal residents. Furthermore, there is no evidence that giving undocumented migrants driver’s licenses makes “roads safer” as Walz claims.

Experts are worried about its potential to infect humans more severely. 

Dr. Demetre Daskalakis from the CDC emphasized that there is no documented person-to-person spread of the virus. 

However, Angela Rasmussen, a virus expert, warns….

That the U.S. may see MORE severe cases due to the growing frequency of infections.

 

Just weeks ago…

Canadian officials reported a similar severe case in a teenager hospitalized in British Columbia. 

Both the Louisiana and Canada cases…

Are linked to strains found in wild birds rather than cattle…

 

But officials have not disclosed whether the two cases share massive similarities.

 

This is not even the end of the whole matter…

Quite recently, a possible case of H5 bird flu in Delaware was found during routine testing for flu. 

The state's public health lab spotted the case and sent it to the CDC…

 

For further checks. 

After multiple tests…the CDC couldn’t confirm the case but labeled it as "probable."

This is the seventh probable case reported in the U.S. …

Most of the earlier cases involved people who had been around sick cows or poultry. 

The bird flu outbreak continues to grow…

Especially among dairy cows, poultry, and even some wild and domestic animals:

  • Dairy Cows: Seven more outbreaks were found in California, bringing the state’s total to 645. Across 16 states, there have been 860 outbreaks in cattle.

  • Poultry: New cases were reported in Louisiana (backyard birds) and in Wisconsin at a turkey breeding farm.

  • Other Mammals: Five more animals tested positive for the virus. These include.

  • A house mouse and a cat in Utah, where earlier outbreaks were seen.

  • Two mountain lions, one in Arizona and another in Washington.

  • A domestic cat in California.

 

To help find bird flu in people… Labcorp has introduced a new test supported by the CDC. Doctors can now order this test… Which uses a nasal swab to check for the virus. The results are sent back to the doctor and patient quickly.

 

With the way the spread of bird flu to wild animals and pets is a growing concern… Hopefully these “tests” will help.

“The Democrats are now the party that’s defending America’s role in the world, defending Ukraine, which I’m really passionate about,” Kinzinger said.

 

Kinzinger, who has gotten everything wrong every step of the way since the 2020 election also absurdly predicted that the GOP would move on from Donald Trump and that voters would soon feel shame for having ever supported him. 

“I think the Republican Party is toast for a while. Everything is a pendulum, and I honestly believe that Trumpism doesn’t survive past these four years. While I’m pissed Trump won, had he lost, I couldn’t have put an expiration date on Trumpism,” Kinzinger added.

 

“It could have been right then and could have been 10 years from now. The only good thing about Trump winning is that in four years, people are going to want nothing to do with him or his movement anymore,” Kinzinger concluded.

Donald Trump won the popular vote.

 

Polls like one from CNN show 55 percent of Americans approve of the Trump transition effort.

And in states like North Carolina, Nevada, and Pennsylvania the GOP continues to enjoy a voter registration edge.

The evidence points in the opposite direction of Kinzinger’s delusional prediction about Trump fading into obscurity.

Donald Trump has never been more popular or powerful than he is today.

 

And no amount of wish casting by Kinzinger will change that.
