CANADIAN:

Carney's $50 Billion business in Bermuda (photo)

Does this look like the headquarters of a $50 billion business? Under Mark Carney most of Brookfield's core operations were registered here.

 

Tax avoidance like this, costs working Canadians billions each year.  

Mark Carney has helped Brookfield avoid $5.3 billion taxes since 2021

Canadians lost an estimated $5.3 billion to Brookfield Asset Management’s tax avoidance in the time Mark Carney was at the company.

Between 2021 and 2024, Brookfield’s annual reports show they made $23.3 billion USD in income. At Canada’s corporate tax rate of 26.4%, they should have paid $6.1 billion in taxes.


But they only paid $2 billion – leaving a tax gap of $4.1 billion USD or $5.3 billion CAD.

This is the same calculation method used by the Toronto Star and Canadians for Tax Fairness for their reports on corporate tax avoidance.

One major entity, Brookfield Asset Management Ltd, has paid no taxes at all for three years.

Two days ago:

1.      CTV reported that most of Brookfield’s core operations - associated with $50 billion of their business - were registered in a Bermuda building housing a bike shop.

Separatist Sentiment?

Three-in-10 in Alberta & Saskatchewan say they’d like to leave if Liberals form next government

 

Separatist sentiment is weaker now than in 2019,                     but persists in AB, SK, and Quebec

April 6, 2025 – As if Election 45 could was looking for more drama, former opposition leader and Reform Party founder Preston Manning was rebuked by both Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and Liberal leader Mark Carney this week after Manning claimed that a vote for Carney and the Liberals represents a vote for Western secession and the breakup of Canada.

 

New data from the nonprofit Angus Reid Institute finds that while Manning is not wrong that Western separatism sentiment may increase if the Liberals win federally, Carney has the data in his favour. Indeed, if the Liberals were to form the next government, approximately three-in-10 in Alberta (30%) and Saskatchewan (33%) say they would vote to leave federation, whether to form their own country or to join the United States. While this is significant, the vast majority still say they would vote no in each province.


Much of this is about perceived respect. In both Alberta (24%) and Saskatchewan (25%) only one-quarter of residents feel their province is respected by the rest of the country. This is half the level of the national average (52%) and well behind Ontario (66%). Even in Quebec, Canada’s traditionally most separatism desiring province, 46 per cent feel respected.

 

Notable, too, are the changes in recent months as Canadians have rallied around the flag in the face of threats of annexation from American President Donald Trump. Compared to last June, the proportion of those who believe their province “is treated fairly by the national government” has risen 19 points or more in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec, while smaller but still positive changes have taken place in Alberta (+4), Saskatchewan (+6) and Atlantic Canada (+12).

Alberta would become one of the richest states in the world; and Ontario one of the most in-debt States.

Trump Shares A Video Claiming He’s “Purposely Crashing The Market”

Americans will benefit.

Christians will benefit even more.


President Trump has shared a TikTok video via his Truth Social platform that claims he is crashing the stock market on purpose.

 

While the claims in the video are not necessarily reflective of Trump’s economic goals, it’s odd that he would share it if he wasn’t on board with some of the thinking in it

One thing is for sure, he wants the world to see the video which claims “Trump is crashing the stock market by 20% this month, but he’s doing it on purpose.”

“This is why Warren Buffet just said Trump is making the best economic moves he’s seen in over 50 years,” the video asserts.

 

“Here’s the secret game he’s playing, and it could make you rich,” it continues adding “So why is he doing this? To push cash into Treasuries, which forces the Fed to slash interest rates in May, and those lower rates give the Fed the ability to refinance trillions of debt very inexpensively.”

“It also weakens the dollar and drops mortgage rates. It’s a wild chess move, but it is working,” the video further claims.

 

“You’re probably wondering: What about his tariffs?” It continues, adding “It’s a genius play. It actually forces companies to build here to dodge them.”

Ot contiunes, “It also forces farmers to sell more of their products here in the U.S. to bring grocery prices way down- we’ve already seen this with eggs.

 

“Remember, 94% of all stocks are owned by 8% of Americans. So Trump is taking from the rich, short term, and handing it to the middle class via lower prices,” the video also claims.

Following Trump’s ‘Liberation Day’ announcement Friday, the stock market plunged sharply after China announced retaliatory tariffs of 34 percent on all American goods. 







Trump noted that his tariffs are retaliatory because China and many more countries are already charging excessive tariffs on US goods.

 



It is DARKEST before DAWN!

As I predicted, President Trump quietly announced on Truth Social that he is purposefully crashing the stock market, as part of his Save America plan, in order to force the Federal Reserve into lowering interest rates. Why? So that the economy can thrive with lower borrowing costs and we can reduce the US TRILLION DOLLAR interest debt.


“Trump is crashing the stock market by 20% this month, but he’s doing it on purpose. This is why Warren Buffett just said that President Trump is making the best economic moves for the country that he’s seen in over 50 years. Here’s the secret game he’s playing. He’s pushing cash into US Treasuries which forces the Fed to slash interest rates in May.

 

These lower rates gives the Fed the ability to REFINANCE TRILLIONS of dollars of debt very inexpensively. It also weakens the dollar and drops mortgage rates for consumers. His tariff strategy is a genius play. It actually forces companies to build here to dodge them. It also forces farmers to sell more of their products here in the US to bring grocery prices way down. We’ve already seen this with eggs.

 

Remember, 94% of all stocks are owned by only 8% of Americans. So, President Trump is taking from the rich short-term and handing the money to the middle-class through lower prices.”






Warren Buffett is sitting on record cash of over $330 BILLION. He knows the stock market is too high. The Buffett Indicator (Total US Market Value/GDP) is a ballpark measure of how expensive stocks are at any one point in history.




It’s now sitting at roughly 210%.

 

Warren Buffett also believes in America First and fair trade and the use of tariffs to balance the trade deficit. He just calls it something different.

 

To show you just how much the Mag7 stocks have manipulated the stock market in the last 15 years, this is the S&P 500. Does this growth mirror the economy that YOU live in and experience every day? Not me.

 

Note that the S&P 500 was roughly 4000 in December 2019 before COVID hit. This morning it was 5,171 - still up 29% from that 2019 high. I’ve lived through the crashes of 1987, the tech bubble in 2000, the housing bubble in 2008 and the COVID crash in 2000. This one is long overdue. Anyone who tells you different is a liar.






On the other hand, retail investors (like you and me) bought $4.7 billion in stocks on Thursday, the highest level over the past decade.






China immediately panicked after Trump’s new tariffs and decided to reciprocate AND escalate. Trump said they played it wrong. Why? Because the average tariff on Chinese products coming into the U.S. was only 2% - whereas the average tariff on U.S. goods going into China is 35%. Is that reciprocal? No, China has been screwing us for years. In addition, China has gotten away with shipping their goods from other countries (like Cambodia and Vietnam) in order to avoid tariffs. The new rates won’t allow them to do that anymore.

Meanwhile, March jobs in America rose by 228,000 - exceeding expectations by 50%.

- 228,000 jobs added, beating expectations by 88,000.

- 459,000 increase in full time workers.

- 209,000 increase in private employment.

- 13,000 increase in construction jobs.

- 22,900 increase in transportation & warehousing jobs.

- 23,700 increase in retail trade jobs.

- 232,000 increase in the labor force.

- 4,000 decline in federal government jobs.

Tariffs WORK and President TRUMP’s First Term PROVED That!

 

Can President Trump fire Powell?

PERPLEXITY: “Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell cannot be legally fired by the president over policy disagreements, as the Federal Reserve Act stipulates that board members can only be removed "for cause," such as neglect of duty or malfeasance.”

If Trump can prove that Powell is keeping interest rates high for political reasons and to hurt Americans - that is a fireable offense.





Cutting borrowing costs, taxes and regulations, while reducing the cost of food and energy for the middle class & bringing back America jobs, will spur growth like never before. Look at the price of oil - lowering energy prices drives INFLATION DOWN for everything and that helps the middle class more than anything.

The real plan all along was to lower interest rates and lower oil prices as soon as possible. The 10-year note yield is down -90 bps and oil prices are down -25%. The tariffs are "working" as planned.

 


The Fed has maintained its benchmark rate at 4.25%-4.5% for two consecutive meetings, despite Trump's public demands for rate cuts. Trump wants to pressure the Fed into cutting rates, forcing bond yields lower to ease debt refinancing costs.

$9.2 trillion is the amount of debt the United States government must refinance in the year 2025 alone, with $6.5 trillion due by June.

Victory! Disney Drops Transgender Character

I have some encouraging news to share with you!replacing them with an openly Christian character Disney has recently decided to drop a transgender character from their upcoming Pixar series, Win or Lose, and is instead!


This is a major shift for Disney, and it’s significant for several reasons:

  • ·        Win or Lose isn’t just another cartoon—it’s Pixar’s first-ever long-form animated series, meaning it will get massive promotion and reach millions of children worldwide.

  • ·        This marks the first openly Christian character in a Disney production in nearly twenty years! The last one appeared in Bridge to Terabithia in 2007.

  • ·        Disney itself admitted that many parents prefer to discuss topics like gender identity with their children on their own terms—something we’ve been saying all along.

 

For years, we’ve demanded that Disney stop indoctrinating our children. Now, it seems like they’re finally listening.

For me, this victory is personal. It comes on the sixth anniversary of my joining CitizenGO, and my very first global campaign was against Disney’s relentless push for gender ideology. I still remember launching that petition—watching signatures climb by tens of thousands in hours, hitting 500,000 in days.

That was just the beginning.

 

Every time Disney tried sneaking LGBT themes into its content or hosting Pride parades at its parks, we fought back. 

CitizenGO was the first organization to call out Disney’s cultural indoctrination—long before “woke” became a household word.

We weren’t popular for it.

 

When I took Mickey Mouse to Disney's London headquarters to deliver our first petition, Disney's security guards threatened me with arrest.



The LGBTQ press exploded in outrage.

Later that year, activists even prevented me from entering the U.S. to deliver another petition at DisneyWorld.

In 2020, I personally took your concerns to Disney’s shareholders’ meeting in North Carolina, confronting then-CEO Bob Chapek. I urged him to stop pushing gender ideology on children. I warned him about Disney’s plummeting stock price—but he refused to listen.

 

Instead, Chapek doubled down, promising even more LGBT characters. And what happened? Disney’s stock continued to crash… and Chapek was later fired.

Despite relentless attacks—including a physical assault on one of our team members outside DisneyWorld—we never backed down. And now, finally, we’re seeing change.

 

Disney is beginning to wake up to the cultural shift. They’re realizing that parents have had enough.

It took us six years, but finally, I am no longer writing to you with outrage about Disney’s latest appalling act but with news that I never dared hope would be possible.But let me be clear: this fight isn’t over.


Disney’s decision to remove the transgender character seems to have been last-minute. The Left is furious, and Disney’s executives will be looking for ways to appease them. One good decision doesn’t undo years of harmful content, and they could easily reverse course.

 

That’s why our message remains the same: Make Disney Wholesome Again!
