You are probably aware of the fact that language in the East is written from right-to-left, the opposite of our left-to-right writing. Are you aware that the line of demarcation between right-writing and left-writing cultures is the land of Israel? Languages east of Israel are written backwards by our standards, while languages west of Israel are written left-to-right.
Have you ever wondered why the name of the ninth month of our calendar, September, is based on a Latin word meaning seven? What about October, the tenth month and Latin for eighth; what about November the eleventh month and Latin for ninth; or December, the twelfth month based on the Latin word for ten? This does not make sense.
It does make sense when you realize that our seventh month, September, corresponds to Tishri, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. October, November and December generally correspond to the eighth, ninth and tenth months of the Hebrew calendar. The ancient language and culture of the Lord and Israel continue their influence to this day.
The first three letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which precedes the Greek alphabet, are Aleph, Beit and Gimel. The first three letters of the Greek alphabet are Alpha, Beta, Gamma. These Hebrew and Greek letters correspond to our English A, B and C.
How much influence did Hebrew have on our English language? English is a Germanic language. There are many words that are similar or the same in both English and German – e.g. hand, arm, fuss (foot), nase (nose), fussbod (footboard).
It is ironic, but it appears that the Jews, through Hebrew, had a great influence on German, from which much of our own language came. Yiddish, or Jewish slang, is German-based. Or is German Yiddish-based? The German equivalent of the letter Z is interesting. It is pronounced Tzett. This is the reason the name Mozart is pronounced “moat-zart” rather than “mow-zart.” In German there is a T sound before the Z sound. It is the same with the Hebrew letter Tzaddi, which looks like our English Z. Did the German Tzett come from the Tzaddi? Did our English Z come from the Tzaddi?
In Hebrew the word for spirit is Rosh. The Holy Spirit is Rosh Chodesh. In German the word for smoke is Rauch. Rosh/Rauch. Spirit/Smoke. Holy Spirit/Holy smoke? The word for dead in Hebrew is Mooth. In German there is no “th” sound. The word would be pronounced Moot. We use the same word. A “moot point” is a dead point, a non-issue.
I do not know Hebrew, just certain words. What I have picked up comes from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance with Hebrew and Greek dictionaries and the Blue Letter Bible. I wonder how many other Hebrew words we daily use directly or slightly modified.
The Lord still influences our cultures to this day through His morality laws (the Ten Commandments), His Biblical calendar, and His Hebrew language. I look forward to the day when the Lord Jesus influences and rules the world as Prince of Peace. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Trump explained that, in this election cycle, the committee reached all of its fundraising, election integrity, and turnout goals.
“At the RNC, we had three distinct goals: 1) surpass all fundraising records 2) build the largest army of lawyers and poll watchers to ensure election integrity and, 3) turn out millions of Americans and low propensity voters during early voting,” Trump added.
Trump thanked the committee and her father-in-law for the faith placed in her when she took the job.
“We accomplished all three. The job I came to do is now complete and I intend to formally step down from the RNC at our next meeting. Thank you to our incredible team at the RNC, our amazing @ChairmanWhatley, and, of course, thank you to President @realDonaldTrump— we are so proud of you and I’m grateful you trusted me in this position.” Trump concluded.
But now the question is what comes next.

It’s up to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to pick who will serve out the remaining two years of Rubio’s term.

Trump said she was very open to serving as junior Senator from Florida should Ron DeSantis go in that direction.
“It is something I would seriously consider,” Lara Trump said in an interview with the Associated Press.
“If I’m being completely transparent, I don’t know exactly what that would look like. And I certainly want to get all of the information possible if that is something that’s real for me. But yeah, I would 100% consider it,” Trump added.
Donald Trump places a high value on family.
And he is more than considering the idea of Senator Lara Trump.
Donald Trump is trying to turn it into a reality.
A source close to the Republican National Committee said the President-Elect is “trying to force the appointment with her stepping down.”
“There are a lot of smoke-filled backroom discussions to the point where publicly Trumpworld is trying to force DeSantis’ hand,” the source added.
Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis were both scheduled to attend the Army-Navy football game Saturday.

Donald Trump’s lawyers filed a motion in court with Judge Juan Merchan asking him to vacate the conviction a rigged jury handed down in Alvin Bragg’s falsification of business records show trial.
The Supreme Court ruling on Presidential immunity held that Bragg illegally presented evidence in court of Trump’s official acts as President as part of the effort to convict him.
Merchan was set to sentence Trump before Thanksgiving but delayed that hearing after Trump won the election.
There is now no chance of Merchan actually sending Trump to jail.
Bragg is now fighting for Merchan to keep the conviction on the books even if he never sentences Trump to prison.
In a new court filing, Bragg is now admitting that the charges he brought against Trump are so trivial that Merchan could even just let Trump walk without jail, fines or probation.
“Here, however, because defendant has no prior criminal convictions and was convicted of Class E felonies, this court is not required to impose a sentence of incarceration at all, and could even impose an unconditional discharge,” Bragg’s prosecutors wrote.
Bragg argued that this would allow Merchan to accept the Presidential immunity ruling without vacating the convictions.
“The court could therefore conclude that presidential immunity, while not requiring dismissal, nonetheless would require a non-incarceratory sentence in these circumstances,” the filing continued on.
Bragg even suggested Merchan resort to a tactic prosecutors only rely on when a defendant dies by saying Trump was convicted but never sentenced because his appeal went unresolved.
“This remedy dismissed,” Cheung declared.
Donald Trump suffered a legitimate injustice at the hands of Bragg and Merchan.
This case never should have been brought under any circumstances.
An appeals court will eventually throw out this sham conviction.
The only question left is if Merchan will actually force Trump to incur further costs to fight this case up the ladder or if Merchan will choose the correct legal option for once in this case and vacate the guilty verdict against Trump.

Outrage ensues after Daniel Penny accepts invite from Trump and JD Vance:

Vice President-elect JD Vance said that Daniel Penny has accepted his invitation to the Army-Navy football game, and many on the left expressed outrage and anger.
A jury exonerated Penny of charges related to the death of Jordan Neely after their altercation in a New York City subway. Neely had synthetic marijuana in his bloodstream and had suffered from mental illness when he threatened to kill subway passengers and Penny put him in a chokehold.
'I’m grateful he accepted my invitation and hope he’s able to have fun and appreciate how much his fellow citizens admire his courage.'
On Friday, Vance said Penny would be joining him and President-elect Donald Trump at the football game as their personal guest at Trump’s suite.
"Daniel’s a good guy, and New York’s mob district attorney tried to ruin his life for having a backbone," wrote Vance on social media. "I’m grateful he accepted my invitation and hope he’s able to have fun and appreciate how much his fellow citizens admire his courage."
While many praised the invitation, some on the left spewed their bilious hatred against Penny.
"Choking mentally unwell homeless people to death for being threatening being rewarded and lauded upon like this is peak America btw," responded one critic.
"Because murdering people in public is awesome, right JD?" wrote an account the owner of which identifies as a historian.
Some, like Emma Vigeland of “The Young Turks,” compared Penny's case to that of the alleged health care CEO killer, Luigi Mangione.
"'Right-wing populism' is when dead-eyed white guy vigilantes get to kill the poorest, least powerful people in our society and get away with it, but the guy who killed the healthcare CEO who was indirectly responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands is a left-wing lunatic," she said on social media.
Penny has said that he is uncomfortable with the attention he's gotten for his actions. He added that he would not have been able to live with himself if he hadn't had intervened and an innocent person had been hurt.

President-elect Donald Trump said that the mysterious drones spotted in New Jersey and other states should be shot down if the federal government doesn’t take action.
On Friday, Trump called for the government to be transparent with the American people.
“Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!!”
The White House, however, said that it needs more definitive information to make a decision on whether to take them down.
“We don’t have enough conclusions to take that kind of policy action,” White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told Fox News on Friday.
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has urged President Joe Biden to allocate more federal resources to investigate mysterious drone sightings.
In a letter to Biden on Thursday, Murphy noted that existing laws limit the ability of state and local law enforcement to counter unmanned aircraft systems and that more federal resources are needed to understand what is behind the activity.
Murphy confirmed that numerous drones have been spotted since Nov. 18.
On Thursday night, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan revealed he saw drones himself, expressing concern that they were flying 25 miles from the nation’s capital.
The federal government’s response to the incident is “unacceptable,” Hogan wrote in a Friday post on X.
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (R-N.J.) called on the FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to hold a public briefing on the matter, give local and state agencies the tools they need to monitor drone activity, and allow them to deploy assets that can safely take down the drones.
“New Jersey can’t become the Wild West of drone activity,” Gottheimer said during a news conference on Friday. “No state can become the Wild West of drone activity.”
In addition to Maryland and New Jersey, additional drone sightings have recently been reported in southern California and Connecticut, according to local media outlets.
Following the drone sightings over New Jersey, the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence and the Subcommittee on Transportation and Maritime Security held a joint hearing Tuesday to discuss the matter.
Robert W. Wheeler Jr., assistant director of the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group, was among the officials who were pressed on the drone sightings over New Jersey.
Wheeler said the FBI is investigating the “unexplained sightings.”
“We do not attribute that to an individual or a group yet,” Wheeler said. “We’re investigating, but I don’t have an answer of who’s responsible for that—if one or more people that are responsible for those drone flights.”
The hearing prompted frustration among lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.
“We should be doing some very urgent intelligence analysis and take them out of the skies, especially if they’re flying over airports or military bases,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) said.
The White House says that a review of the reported sightings shows that many of the drones are actually manned aircraft being flown lawfully.
John Kirby, White House national security spokesman, said that there were no reported sightings in any restricted airspace.
“We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus,” the FBI and DHS said in a joint statement.
The FBI and DHS continue to deploy personnel and technology to investigate the situation to “confirm whether the reported drone flights are actually drones or are instead manned aircraft or otherwise inaccurate sightings,” according to the statement.

JUST IN: ABC to issue an apology to President-elect Trump and has been forced to pay $15 million to settle a defamation lawsuit.
ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos reached a settlement with President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday, with the network agreeing to issue an apology and pay a Trump-related foundation $15 million in addition to $1 million for Trump’s attorney fees.
The settlement, filed in federal court in Miami Saturday afternoon, marks a win for Trump, who sued the network and its star anchor for libel after Stephanopoulos said on air that Trump was found liable for the rape of writer E. Jean Carroll. Last year, a jury hearing a civil suit brought by Carroll found that Trump sexually abused and defamed her, but found Trump not liable for rape. Still, a federal judge in New York later ruled that it was accurate to say that Trump was found liable for rape in “common modern parlance.”
According to the settlement, first reported by Fox News, ABC News must append an editor’s note expressing “regret” to the online article in which Stephanopoulos’ televised comments appear.
“We are pleased that the parties have reached an agreement to dismiss the lawsuit on the terms in the court filing,” an ABC News spokesperson said on Saturday.
The settlement comes after a federal magistrate judge on Friday ordered Trump and Stephanopoulos to sit for four-hour depositions next week.
Trump’s suit against ABC and Stephanopoulos is just one in a series of cases the president-elect has filed against media organizations and his political opponents. During his bid for president, Trump used the stack of cases to boost his campaign’s visibility and advance a narrative that his perceived enemies unfairly target him. Now that he’s successfully clinched a return to the White House, any open cases could pose a problem as Trump could be called to provide sworn testimony and hand over related documents.

14th Amendment twist: NBC ignored six key words in its ‘gotcha’ interview with Trump:
Contrary to popular belief and media distortions, Congress can place restrictions on birthright citizenship. Here’s how.
President Trump appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” last Sunday for a wide-ranging interview. Once again, he addressed the contentious subject of birthright citizenship, a doctrine that asserts that anyone born on U.S. soil, even to noncitizen parents or persons in the country illegally, should be considered an American citizen no matter what.
President Trump wants to get rid of unrestricted birthright citizenship, a practice that not even the most left-wing European governments engage in. When reciting the text of the 14th Amendment as a “gotcha” to his plan, “Meet the Press” omitted six crucial words: “All persons born … in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, shall be citizens of the United States.”
Nothing in the 14th Amendment stops Congress from enacting legislation that limits birthright citizenship along the lines of what Harry Reid proposed in 1993.
Those words matter.
Congress has the power to define what it means to be born in the United States “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” Current law contains no such restriction, but Congress can make one, excluding prospectively from birthright citizenship individuals born in the U.S. to illegal aliens.
This is an idea that has attracted lawmakers of both political parties.
In fact, one of the first bills (at least in recent memory) that attempted to impose statutory limits on automatic birthright citizenship was introduced in 1993 by Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who later became the Democrats’ leader in the Senate.
Senator Reid’s bill was called the Immigration Stabilization Act of 1993. Title X of that bill would have limited automatic birthright citizenship to children born in the United States to mothers who were either U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents at the time. The fact that federal law doesn’t currently impose such a restriction doesn’t mean that it couldn’t, and that’s why Reid proposed that change.
Nothing in the 14th Amendment stops Congress from enacting legislation that limits birthright citizenship along the lines of what Reid proposed in 1993.
Those who suggest that Congress is somehow powerless to limit birthright citizenship ignore important constitutional text giving Congress power to define who among those “born in the United States” is born “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”
Moreover, the very lawmakers who drafted the 14th Amendment did not consider it to confer automatic citizenship upon anyone born within its geographic borders — such a suggestion was considered absurd at the time.
Senator Jacob Howard, who served on the Joint Committee on Reconstruction that drafted the 14th Amendment, said of the citizenship clause:
This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.
Senator Lyman Trumbull, a staunch abolitionist who drafted the Civil Rights Act of 1866, which presaged the 14th Amendment, also understood “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” to mean “not owing allegiance to anybody else and being subject to the complete jurisdiction of the United States.”
These policies were explicitly crafted to normalize the citizenship of newly freed slaves following the Civil War, and everyone at the time knew it. One can only imagine how these statesmen would react if they could see their crowning constitutional achievement perverted to justify anyone in the world illegally entering our country, having a child, and automatically conferring American citizenship upon their new family member.
It bothers me that “Meet the Press,” long revered as America’s leading Sunday political news program, has become so one-sided. In this instance, the program seems to try to render a debatable matter beyond debate by selectively omitting key words from the Constitution, making it appear incorrectly that the 14th Amendment proscribes any and all restrictions on birthright citizenship.
We should revisit the question of birthright citizenship, along with many other corruptions of our national security and sovereignty, if we are to preserve America for those who are already, citizens.
