This is ridiculous. A federal judge ruled public prayer is unconstitutional.
We JUST appealed this prayer ban to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Atheists filed a lawsuit claiming a community prayer vigil offended them, and unbelievably, the public prayer was deemed unconstitutional. This kind of anti-Christian abuse of the court system happens all the time.
I just filed to appeal this case to the Supreme Court, and the high Court just granted the atheists' request for more time to respond. They're taking this VERY seriously. Prayer is fundamental. Prayer is constitutional. And anti-Christian radicals have NO RIGHT to bring these suits in the first place.
This monumental case will not only affect public prayer but every attack on religious free expression in the public square.
I've been fighting – and WINNING – these cases for decades. We defeated attempts to shut down churches during the pandemic and helped win a critical prayer case at the Supreme Court earlier this year.

Nike Co-Founder Goes Un-woke in the Most Epic Way:
Nike may be one of the most woke companies in the United States. Colin Kaepernick and his now-famous kneeling during the national anthem certainly helped to give them the title. After all, they chose to make him their spokesperson AFTER he made such a political statement.
To say that the CEOs are Democrats is an understatement.
Phil Knight is one of the co-founders of Nike. And he’s decided that it’s time to go unwoke.
Knight has decided to go all-in to ensure that Tina Kotek, the Democrat racing to be the next governor of Oregon does NOT win.
After seeing how Kate Brown led the state through the pandemic, it would seem that Knight is tired of liberal politics – even though Nike was all for the harsh pandemic rules that were in place.
Several impressive donations have been made by Knight. First, he spent $3.75 million on independent candidate Betsy Johnson. Then, he spent another $1 million on GOP candidate Christine Drazan. He’s tossing money by the millions to ensure that Kotek does not win.
Rebecca Tweed, a Republican strategist, said that Knight’s donations aren’t necessarily to be viewed as endorsements of the candidates. Instead, it is more about attacking the Democratic candidate.
Oregon has been a VERY blue state, so it will take a significant amount of effort to turn it red – and it may require more than just money. That being said, Drazan is closing in on Kotek. It would be a considerable feat if she can do it, especially since the state hasn’t seen a Republican governor since 1982.
In fact, a poll conducted by Emerson College recently shows that Drazan, who is currently the state’s House Republican Leader, is actually leading Kotek by two points.
Knight told the New York Times that he’s an “anti-Tina” person, which explains why he’s spending the kind of money that he is to ensure that she doesn’t win.
Now, it’s unclear as to whether Nike is going unwoke…or just one of the co-founders.
Nike still holds some very liberal views. They have even gone as far as saying that they will cover the travel expenses for any employees who need an abortion if they live in a state where there are restrictive laws.
Meanwhile, Drazan holds conservative, pro-life views. She has said that the state’s current stance to support women who want to travel to the state for abortions is “outside the mainstream.” Knight is a non-voting observer on the Nike board, holding the title of chairman Emeritus.
When asked by the Times about Nike’s stance on helping employees to get abortions, Knight commented, “Nike has good leadership. They make choices, whatever they want, but I think I’m more conservative than Nike.”
Knight has shown that he’s less woke than Nike on many other occasions, too – and that includes donating $1 million to the Republican Governors’ Association.
With the cash infusion to Drazan’s campaign, it has certainly helped the Republican move ahead in the polls. As we press closer, we may even see Knight infuse even more if it ensures that she gets the win as opposed to Kotek.
It would be an interesting turn of events if the co-founder of one of the wokest companies in the U.S. ends up turning a blue state red. Let’s keep a close eye on what’s going on in the gubernatorial race of Oregon. [Real Loaded News]

Ron DeSantis recently set off a firestorm by flying two planes carrying 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Since Democrats declare their states and cities as sanctuaries for illegal aliens, DeSantis figured they wouldn’t mind him sending 50 of Joe Biden’s illegal border crossers to the sanctuary state of Massachusetts.
However, the left-wing elites at Martha’s Vineyard called the National Guard to relocate the illegal aliens within 48 hours of their arrival.
DeSantis exposed the Left’s hypocrisy on illegal immigration and catapulted the issue to the forefront of the national debate.
This is bad news for Democrats, since illegal immigration is one of the issues where voters give them their lowest marks.
But now, with less than three weeks until the Midterms, Ron DeSantis just highlighted another clear difference between the two Parties on an important issue for voters.
Crime is skyrocketing in Democrat-controlled cities all across the country as a result of their pro-criminal policies like no cash bail and defunding the police.
Polls now show crime is one of the top issues for voters this fall.
But in Florida, police officers and first responders are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
On June 2, DeSantis signed the state’s “Freedom First Budget” into law, which includes a $1,000 bonus payment for local government first responders in Florida.
Those eligible for the one-time bonus include “police officers, sheriff’s deputies, paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and firefighters employed by local governments throughout the state.”
The checks were intended to be mailed to the first responders, but many areas were unable to deliver the mail due to HurricaneIan’s Category Four impact on the state.
But on Tuesday, DeSantis hand-delivered checks to first responders during a press conference at Sanibel Island.
In a press release, DeSantis praised the first responders in southwest Florida for working “day and night” following the destruction Hurricane Ian brought on the area.
“We are proud of the hard work and selflessness that our first responders demonstrate every day, especially when communities are relying on them more than ever,” DeSantis said. “For nearly three weeks, first responders in Southwest Florida have been working day and night in the wake of Hurricane Ian to save lives and help their communities,” he continued, adding that “I am glad we were able to bring Sanibel Island, Captiva Island and Upper Captiva Island first responders their $1,000 bonuses to show our appreciation for their dedication.”
400 other checks that are undeliverable through mail are also being sent to local governments “in an effort to provide first responders with these bonuses as quickly as possible.”
“For three weeks, first responders have been serving in response to Hurricane Ian,” DeSantis wrote on twitter.
“In the midst of the storm many first responders didn’t receive their $1,000 bonuses and today I hand-delivered their checks to show Florida’s commitment to the heroes that never stop serving.”
Ron DeSantis is a law and order Republican who supports first responders and police officers.
And with less than three weeks until the elections, DeSantis just helped highlight a key difference between Republicans and Democrats on the important issue of crime.

The Incredible Shrinking Universe:
This article says the universe is expanding much faster than previously measured and that was too fast already! Explosions don't increase in speed, they slow down further the pieces are away from the blast, right? Otherwise, we'd have blown up the surface of the planet not long after the Chinese discovered gunpowder. So, what's with stars moving away from us faster and faster?
The new research suggests the universe is expanding at roughly 160,000 miles per hour, while previous measurements that take the cosmic microwave background into account concluded it was expanding far slower than that.
And while Pantheon+ (the telescope that replace Hubble) may have confirmed the discrepancy, it didn't exactly provide any answers for it.
"It certainly indicates," the researcher told Agence France-Presse, "that potentially something is fishy with our understanding of the universe."
Clearly, Pantheon+ has opened more doors than it has closed. But that, in a way, is the beauty of the scientific process — the research done by Brout and his team could still lay the groundwork for a number of future discoveries.

Mysterious Vehicleburied decades ago Discovered in the back yard of Multimillion-dollar Mansion. Cadaver dogs detect possible Human Remains:
On Thursday morning, police were called out to a multimillion-dollar mansion in Silicon Valley over reports that a buried vehicle was discovered during a landscaping project.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Atherton suburb property was built in 1990 and is valued at $15 million. Paul Saab, a Meta software engineer, and his wife, angel investor Christal Condon Saab, purchased the five-bedroom, seven-bath home in March 2020.
The homeowners alerted police as a precaution and noted that contractors working in the back yard discovered the vehicle while excavating the yard for a landscaping project, KTVU reported. A contractor working at the property said that the vehicle was a Mercedes.
Police stated that the car was buried four to five feet deep sometime in the 1990s, though authorities did not reveal what led them to that conclusion. They noted that the vehicle's interior was packed with dirt and contained some unused bags of concrete.
Because authorities were not sure why the vehicle was buried, they brought cadaver dogs to investigate the scene. The police reported that the dogs picked up a trace of possible human remains.
Atherton Police Commander Daniel Larsen told the New York Post that, at this time, no remains have been located.
The local crime lab was brought in to assist with the excavation of the vehicle. Thursday evening, Larsen stated that the top of the car had been unearthed. He noted that investigators would need to carefully remove the dirt from the interior of the vehicle to avoid compromising any potential evidence, a process that may take several days.
Since the vehicle was buried long before the current owners purchased the home, authorities noted that the couple is not under suspicion.
The registered owner of the buried vehicle is being investigated, but police are not currently releasing the name. However, KNTV reported that the vehicle's VIN and license plate were linked to a former owner of the home.
According to Fox News, records indicated that the previous owners lived in the 12,643-square-foot home from 1990 to 2014.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the mysterious buried car are currently being investigated. No further details have been released at this time. [The BLAZE Media]
