Holy YHWH, how good and righteous and just and true you are. Though we deserve your wrath because we can never meet your standard of perfection, you have set aside our corruptions, reached into humanity and made a way for us to be accepted.
Though we deserve to be hung on a cross, you sent Y’shua to be the Passover lamb for us so we would always have a place in your kingdom if we believed. Though we deserve an eternal destination of punishment because a day doesn’t go by when we aren’t struggling to have our own way, you have prepared a place for us in your glorious home.
You have cleansed us. You have remade us. You are clothing us in righteousness. You called us your bride and you are planning for that day when the Groom is released to come for his bride. There is nothing good in us but you are fully good. And in your grace and mercy, you have raised us up and given us a name.
There are not enough words to express your attributes and so we leave you to read the worship of our hearts. Where would we be if you hadn’t planted the seed of faith in us, watered it, fed it and cajoled it to grow? We would be spiritually bankrupt, destitute from all the treasures that are truly of value.
Father, we don’t want to be hoarders of the truth, grasping this salvation, with greedy hands, to our chests. We want it to be shared liberally so that, if they are willing, all those around us will embrace your gift. Use us as conduits of your grace. Do what you must so humanity can know you in all your beauty. We worship you and give you praise. In Y’shua’s name and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Matthew 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.
Revelation 12:14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.
