Howie Mandel says the days of 'Woke' are Numbered:
Comedian and TV host Howie Mandel praised comedians who are pure to their artform and said that because of comedians who have refused to censor themselves, the pendulum is swinging away from woke audiences.
Mandel appeared on the "Stand-Up World Podcast" and started by reminiscing about the days when comedy fans could go to a club and see comedians who "seem to be breaking the rules."
Comedians were "talking about things you didn't hear people talk about publicly," unlike what you might see on the "Tonight Show" or any other mainstream comedy format.
The former "Deal or No Deal" host then described when he thought audiences started taking offense with politically correct points of view.
"A couple of years ago political awareness kind of took over, even before this whatever people call 'woke,' it started in colleges you know? A lot of my friends who used to play colleges. You'd think you'd play to colleges because that would be the young, open-minded people where you could go so far. They were the first people to really shut down, but I think the pendulum swung really far into the woke," Mandel explained.
However, Mandel said the pendulum swung too far into "woke" and cited a number of comedians who he thinks have brought true comedy back.
"I feel like with people like Shane Gillis and Bert Kreischer and Ari Shaffir and all these Austin comics and all these new guys — Mark Normand — and all these people, these people who don't give a s**t about that and believe in the purity of what it is."
"[They] are bringing the pendulum back and they're selling bigger numbers than anybody that is trying to conform to whatever you believe you need to conform to," he claimed.
Comedian Kreischer starring in a 2023 movie about his life, Shaffir's successful comedy special on YouTube, and Gillis' monstrous comeback that included a "Saturday Night Live" appearance and a Bud Light sponsorship are just some of the accolades these comedians have acquired.
Mandel went on to describe the hypocrisy of viewers getting offended by comedy, as "humor comes out of darkness."
"That’s why the tragedy and comedy masks are so close together," Mandel continued. "If you’re a little kid and you go to the circus you’re laughing at a clown falling down. You’re laughing at the misfortune of somebody you don’t know."
"If something bad doesn’t happen, it’s not funny. If something embarrassing doesn’t happen, it’s not funny. If something awkward doesn’t happen, it’s not funny," he explained.
Touching on cancel culture, Mandel described how easy it is to simply not listen to a comedian if you find what they say to be offensive.
"You don’t have to laugh at the joke. You don’t have to like the joke. You don’t even have to get the joke."
He added that jokes have never actually harmed anyone, and those who have claimed to have suffered from comedy, have not.
"Who is damaged by this? Who has ever been damaged by comedy? Ever? Ever?! ... They’re not damaged, they’re complaining,” Mandel concluded.

(LifeSiteNews) — A noted fiscally conservative think tank warned that a proposed federal mandate from the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to ban the sale of new gasoline/diesel-only powered cars after 2035 and allow electric-only sales is an unrealistic fantasy that would cause massive chaos by threatening to collapse the nation’s power grids.
“Requiring all new vehicle sales in Canada to be electric in just 11 years means the provinces need to substantially increase their power generation capabilities, and adding the equivalent of 10 new mega-dams or 13 new gas plants in such a short timeline isn’t realistic or feasible,” said G. Cornelis van Kooten, a Fraser Institute senior fellow and author of “Failure to Charge: A Critical Look at Canada’s EV Policy.”
“Canadians need to know just how much additional electricity is going to be required in order to meet Ottawa’s electric vehicle mandate, because its impact on the provinces – and taxpayers and rate payers – will be significant.”
Van Kooten’s in-depth analysis of the impending electric vehicle (EV) mandate was released March 14 and estimates that to meet the 2035 target national electric generation would need to go up some 15.3 percent in only 11 years, which is a monumental task.
This would mean building no less than 10 new mega hydro dams nationwide, or at least 13 new large natural gas plants, according to Van Kooten. For those pushing so-called “green” power, that would mean some 5,000 new wind turbines, which all must still be backed up by natural gas peaker plants because of their unreliability when the wind is not blowing.
Given the length of time it takes to build a natural gas plant due to red tape, costs, and other factors, van Kooten observed that “the major obstacle relates to the likelihood of constructing sufficient power generating capacity to meet the anticipated demand EVs would impose on electricity grids.”
“The real-world situation is not as easy as merely replacing current ICE vehicles with EVs, and there are many obstacles to be overcome on the path of electrifying the personal vehicle fleets within Canada,” he said.
“The type of electricity that goes into the grid would also be a big consideration when switching over to EVs, as jurisdictions will need to increase their electricity production capabilities with green sources that meet the additional hourly load requirements and can be employed quickly to balance intermittent renewable energy sources.”
Van Kooten’s study looks at how much extra electricity will be required in all of Canada’s biggest provinces, Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec to meet the 2035 EV mandate.
The Fraser Institute, for context, observed that “It took approximately 10 years to plan and pass environmental regulations, and an additional decade” to build British Columbia’s new hydroelectric Site C dam.
Trudeau plans to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars after 2035. The EU (European Union) also has an EV mandate in place for the same year.
Canadian Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault announced just before Christmas the “Electric Vehicle Availability Standard.” This is a plan that will mandate that all new cars and trucks by 2035 be electric, which would in effect ban the sale of new gasoline- or diesel-only powered vehicles after that year.
The reality is that electric cars cost thousands more to make and buy, are not suited to Canada’s cold climate, offer poor range and long charging times (especially in cold weather), and have batteries that take tremendous resources to make and are hard to recycle.
Just over a week ago, LifeSiteNews reported that a 2022 study found that electric vehicles pollute at a rate far higher than their gasoline or diesel-powered counterparts.
Not all Canadian provinces are on board Trudeau’s EV dictate
In January, LifeSiteNews reported that Alberta’s Minister of Energy criticized the federally funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) for publishing a report stating that electric cars are better able to handle cold weather than gas-powered ones, all at the same time an extreme cold snap gripped much of western Canada and nearly caused Alberta’s power grid to collapse due to its increased reliance on so-called renewable energy.
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has promised that she intends to fight with “everything” at her disposal what she called an “unconstitutional” new federal government EV mandate as well as a net-zero power generation, which if implemented would lead to guaranteed power outages.
She noted that when it comes to Trudeau’s EV mandate, “Ottawa is trying to force increased demands on the electricity grid while simultaneously weakening Alberta’s and other provinces’ grids through their federal electricity regulations.”
Trudeau’s EV mandates have also been called out by the automotive industry in Canada. The Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers’ Association said in response to the new EV mandate that forcing people to buy EVs will “disproportionately impact households living in rural and northern communities that may have lower access to public charging infrastructure.”
A June 2017 peer-reviewed study by two scientists and a veteran statistician confirmed that most of the recent global warming data have been “fabricated by climate scientists to make it look more frightening.”
Trudeau’s war on the internal combustion engine comes despite the fact Canada has the third largest oil reserves in the world, which is produced ethically, unlike in other nations.

Satan had a historically unique opportunity to destroy the Messianic line during the time of Queen Esther. Had he been able to destroy all the Jews through Haman, Satan could have prevented Jesus Christ from appearing!
God boldly gave the people of Israel the plan by which Messiah would appear, and He even gave the precise timetable! In Daniel 9:24-27, which God gave to Daniel approximately 553 BC, God foretold that, from the going forth of the Decree to rebuild Jerusalem, to the coming of Messiah, was to be 69 Jewish Weeks of Years, or 483 Jewish years. Since the Decree of Artaxerxes was issued in 456 BC, anyone could have counted forward to see when Jesus Christ would be declared as the Jewish Messiah and when He would die.
This period of 483 Jewish years is 173,880 days. Counting forward from the Decree of Artaxerxes, we come to Palm Sunday, 33 A.D., when the multitude declared that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. Just 5 days later, Jesus was unjustly tried and crucified, in complete and absolute fulfillment of Daniel 9:24-27. Now you know why Jesus said, on several occasions during His ministry, " My time is not yet come" [John 7:6, 8, 30; 2:4]
If God gave His precise timetable to the people of Israel, through the Prophet Daniel, in 553 BC, you can bet your bottom dollar that Satan was determined to prevent Jesus from appearing on this time schedule. God foretold that Messiah would come directly from King David. [Isaiah 9:2-7; Jeremiah 33:15-17, 20-22; Ezekiel 34:23-24; 37:24-27; Hosea 3:5; Amos 9:11; Zechariah 12:6-10]. Therefore, you could expect that Satan would try to attack the Davidic lineage in the intervening 483 years. Satan did just exactly that, with his greatest attack coming during the reign of Queen Esther.
Esther is one of the key figures in the entire Bible. When she became Queen of the Gentile King of Persia, her nation, Israel, lay on the garbage heap of history. God had brought Babylon into Israel, beginning in 606 BC, to physically punish her for her national sins that had extended over 800 years.
The Jews were in a hostile land, ruled over by a people of great cruelty, the kind of cruelty exhibited by the late Iranian Ayatollah Khomeni. Satan prepared his plan of annihilation of the Jews through the Secretary of State to the King, Haman. This plan of annihilation started with all the Jews in Persia, and would then expand outward to include every Jew in the entire world. If ever Satan had a golden opportunity to destroy the Messianic line, this was the time.
If Satan could cut off the Davidic lineage, he could prevent Messiah from appearing in fulfillment of God's prophecies.
Therefore, God's honor and prestige were on the line.
This supernatural battle had to have been the most intense in the history of the world up until that time. God had chosen to use fulfilled prophecy as one of His main stamps of validity.
These bold promises from God must have stimulated Satan even more in his determination to annihilate the Jews to prevent God's prophecies concerning the first appearance of Messiah from coming to pass.
Esther's action comes at a most important time in the supernatural struggle between Satan and Jesus Christ. The most famous line in this story is uttered by Mordecai, when Esther is wavering between acting on behalf of her nation or taking the safe path of keeping her mouth shut while Haman was destroying the Jews. Mordecai said, " Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" [Esther 4:14]
Of course, you know the rest of the story. Queen Esther risked her life to appear to her husband, the Persian King, without being summoned. The King received Esther kindly, allowing Esther to put into action the plan that her Uncle Mordecai had conceived. The King realized that Haman had tricked him into signing the decree by which Haman was going to annihilate all the Jews in the entire world. The King ordered that Haman be hung on the very gallows he had erected to begin the annihilation of the Jews.
God's uninterrupted Davidic lineage remained intact.
To defeat God, and prevent God's prophecies of Messiah from coming from the Davidic Lineage, Satan attempted to use Haman to completely break the Messianic line. Thus, he could have prevented Jesus from ever appearing. But God is Sovereign. Moving just ahead of Satan, God placed Esther in Satan's path, defeating him totally.
No wonder that Israel feels emboldened in her defiance of the mighty US as she moves to finally eradicate Hamas!
Today, the modern-day Haman --Hamas terror group -- is arrayed against the modern nation of Israel. The modern Hamas is murderous beyond belief and is bound by their own oaths to completely eradicate all Jews throughout the world.
If God causes this modern-day conflict to occur during Purim -- the Jewish celebration of Israel's deliverance from the Medo-Persian (Iranian) murderer will occur because God has delivered His Chosen People one more time.

On Monday, former President Barack Obama met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at his home on Downing Street in London, England.
At the time this article is being written, there is no word on why the meeting took place, but it did last for an hour.
After the meeting, Obama was seen with U.S. Ambassador to London Jane Hartley.
The meeting was described as “informal” by what was told to The Daily Telegraph by an official.
The Times also said that the British finance minister also arrived to Downing Street a little bit before Obama did.
After the meeting took place, the former president said that he was “tempted” to answer questions from reporters but decided not to.
And now some are wondering if Obama’s visit with Sunak in London is a way to undermine the authority of President Joe Biden.
There’s also worries that Obama is violating the Logan Act through this visit.
The Logan Act prohibits unauthorized U.S. citizens from having any sort of negotiations or formal talks with a foreign government.
As mentioned before, The Daily Telegraph reported that the meeting was “informal,” but there’s no way to know that for sure without more information.
Ever since President Joe Biden was sworn into office, there’s been theories that Barack Obama is actually pulling the strings behind the scenes.
While there isn’t any evidence to prove that, secret meetings like the one the former president had in London, only fuel those rumors.
There’s also some questions over whether or not Obama is trying to undermine a potential Trump presidency should he be elected to office for a second term this November.

While many Presidents have their speeches on a teleprompter for them to read off of, none other than Biden has read their instructions out loud.
During a speech in which Biden was addressing the overturning of Roe v. Wade, he attempted to read a quote about women and power.
However, he also read the instructions out loud which told him to repeat the line.
Number 9 Biden gaffe: “Lincoln Riley”
While many of the gaffes on this list are upbeat and funny, this Biden mess-up is a bit more troubling.
After refusing to say the name of Laken Riley or frankly even sincerely address her death, Joe Biden tried to cover for himself.
But instead of saying anything well-meaning or kind at all regarding the death of the nursing student at the hands of an illegal alien he allowed into the country, Biden simply mispronounced her name.

Joe Biden’s amusing nickname of “Sleepy Joe” has some evidence to back up why he’s called that.
As someone who’s well above the age of retirement, he’s shown that performing the duties of president at his age aren’t all that easy.
Take the 2021 COP26 climate change conference in Scotland for example.
The conference must have been so boring for the president that he decided it wasn’t worth his time to pay attention and listen to it anymore.

The president has had some rather disturbing moments with the youth in this country.
From sniffing the hair of young girls to creepily asking them to get ice cream with him, Biden is not someone you want to leave your children alone with.
But perhaps the most bizarre instance of Joe Biden interacting with kids, was when he told a very odd story about his time in a swimming pool.
“I got hairy legs that turned … blonde in the sun. And the kids used to come up and reach into the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and watch the hair come back up again,” Biden said.

Joe Biden seems to have a strange fascination with sniffing people, and no one can figure out why.
Many people have been creeped out by Joe Biden’s obsession with sniffing the hair of women and especially young girls.

Speaking about the education of children, he said “We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it.” And then he delivered an all-time Biden gaffe that will stand the test of time.
“Poor kids are just as talented as white kids.” That’s rough.
When he let that really bad Freudian slip out, that the whole tone of the room went dark faster than a winter evening.
Number 4 Biden gaffe: “America can be defined in a single word…”
His speeches can rouse thousands, even with just a single word.
Angel choirs in heaven rejoice, the golden-tongued prophet has come.
Biden went on to bless the crowd with his words, saying:
I was in the foothi- — foot- — excuse me, in the foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Jinping, traveling with him. (Inaudible) traveled 17,000 miles when I was Vice President at the time. I don’t know that for a fact.
We truly are lucky to have such a mentally fit and competent president at the helm.
Can you imagine what would happen if we didn’t?

President Biden has always been known for his gentle and respectful temperament.
That’s why he made headlines years ago for giving the nicest compliment to a Fox News reporter.
“Do you think inflation is a political liability going into the midterms?” Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy could be heard shouting as journalists filed out of the room.
“No, it’s a great asset,” Mr. Biden replied. “More inflation. What a stupid son of a b*tch.”

Money talks in our government, and a lot of money comes into the Biden campaign from renewable energy and the promotion of electric vehicles (EVs).
Biden is now doing EV manufacturers' dirty work by forcing most cars on our roads to be EVs within a decade, but Trump is vowing to reverse the rules if he gets into office.

Biden's Latest Crackdown on Gasoline Powered Vehicles
On Wednesday, the Biden administration dropped its latest rules to promote EVs. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced new measures to ensure that at least two-thirds of all cars on the road are EVs or hybrids by 2032.
The new rule enforces tailpipe emissions, the standard of which can only be met if 56% of all cars on the road are EVs, with another 13% being hybrid vehicles. This would be a massive increase in sales of EVs in recent years, as overall EVs accounted for 5.8% of sales in 2022 and 7.6% of sales in 2023. Translation… Americans are not voluntarily going for EVs, so Biden will force them down our throats.
EPA Administrator Michael Regan stated:
"Our final rule delivers the same, if not more, pollution reduction than we set out in our proposal.
"These new standards are so important," he said, "for public health, for American jobs, for our economy and for our planet."
Joe Biden added:
"Today, we're setting new pollution standards for cars and trucks.
"And you have my word: US workers will lead the world in making autos, each stamped 'Made in America.'"
Trump Vows to Reverse Biden Rule
EVs are just not moving right now, and we have seen several automobile companies show losses in this area and pull back on production. Americans are not interested in EVs, but we may not have a choice in a decade if Biden has his way. This has caused significant concerns for various industries that depend on gasoline-powered vehicles. For instance, the American Petroleum Institute complained that this would make gasoline-powered cars "unavailable or prohibitively expensive." The group added:
"Whether you're a Republican or Democrat, Congress has to make a decision whether to protect consumer choice, US manufacturing workers and our hard-won energy security by overturning this deeply flawed regulation.
"Short of that, our organizations are certainly prepared to challenge it in court."
Donald Trump immediately responded to the new rule, vowing to reverse Biden's EPA standards as soon as he gets into office. His campaign stated:
"Joe Biden's extreme electric vehicle mandate will force Americans to buy ultra-expensive cars they do not want and cannot afford while destroying the U.S. auto industry in the process. This radical policy is anti-jobs, anti-consumer and anti-American.

Analysis
This position for Biden is all about money, so make no mistake about that. His campaign has stacks of cash from renewable energy companies and EV manufacturers, so Biden will do whatever he can to keep the money coming in. Trump, on the other hand, will get his money from big oil, so the standoff begins.
From a consumer perspective, this has to be dialed back, or Biden will wind up making cars unaffordable for the average family. EVs are roughly 20-30% higher than gasoline-powered cars right now, and Americans are already struggling in this economy. It could come down to a choice of having a car or taking ride shares and public transportation, but perhaps that is what Biden would prefer.
He will do anything to kill the fossil fuel industry right now, and this is all part of the plan. This alone could wind up sending more voters to Trump in November simply because people do not want EVs forced down their throats.

Trump Has Rare Emotional Breakdown Live During Campaign Rally
At his rally in South Dakota, former President Donald Trump seemed to lose it when he described Joe Biden’s disastrous “Bidenomics” and how the nation was on the verge of another “Great Depression.”
“If you took the five worst presidents in the history of the United States and added them up, they would not have done near the destruction to our country as Joe Biden and the Biden administration have done in a few short years,” said Trump on Friday during a speech in Rapid City, South Dakota.
“And no damage has been worse than the disaster known as Bidenomics.”
Trump emphasized the following shortcomings in Biden’s economic plan:
· Since Joe Biden took office, cumulative inflation has reached almost 20 percent — and the dollar has lost more than 20 percent of its value in just three years’ time…
· Joe Biden has blown through $11.5 trillion dollars in wasteful spending — equivalent to $88,000 dollars taken from every American family.
· Under Biden, the budget deficit is exploding and set to more than double this year alone…
· Manufacturing has contracted ten months in a row, and monthly jobs reports have been revised downward every single month of 2023.
· During Biden’s first 30 months in office, just 2.1 million new jobs have been created nationwide. By contrast, during the first 30 months of President Trump, we created 4.9 million new jobs, shattering all predictions.
· Under Biden, real incomes have gone down by $7,400 dollars per family. Under President Trump, yearly income went up by more than $6,000 dollars.
Trump warned that “we’re heading into a great depression.”
“The only question is whether or not it will be during the remaining months of the Biden administration … or will the next president have to bear the brunt of what Biden has done to our country? I don’t want to be the next Herbert Hoover — and I won’t let that happen.”
Biden is “an economic arsonist,” according to the 45th president, who further said that Biden is “incinerating American wealth at a level never seen before.” It is a conflagration of failure, taxation, inflation, and capitulation.
“The choice in this election is between a Biden Economic Bust or a Trump Economic Boom. … Crooked Joe cares only about enriching his own family — I care about enriching your family,” Trump added.

First Lady Jill Biden slammed special counsel Robert Hur for his d*mning report, which raised troubling doubts about her husband’s advanced age and mental acuity.
While Hur exonerated President Biden of any charges stemming from sensitive materials discovered at his Delaware home, he also identified numerous instances of the commander-in-chief’s forgetfulness, describing him as a “well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.”
During an extensive interview with prosecutors, his 388-page report claimed that the president couldn’t recall the exact or even approximate date when his late son Beau Biden died, let alone when his vice presidency ended.
“I hope you can imagine how it felt to read that attack — not just as Joe’s wife, but as Beau’s mother,” Jill Biden bemoaned in an email to her backers over the weekend.
“I don’t know what this Special Counsel was trying to achieve. We should give everyone grace, and I can’t imagine someone would try to use our son’s death to score political points.”
His report stated that Biden “did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died.” Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015, and the president has publicly described his sadness at the time.
“If you’ve experienced a loss like that, you know that you don’t measure it in years — you measure it in grief. May 30th is a day forever etched on our hearts. It shattered me, it shattered our family,” Jill Biden rebutted.
“How the h*ll dare he raise that? Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself it wasn’t any of their d*mned business,” President Biden fumed in an animated press conference last Thursday.
At 81, Biden is already the oldest president in U.S. history.
If Biden wins and serves a second hypothetical term in office, he will be 86 years old at the end.
Hur’s critical report fueled suspicion about his age, even as he appears prepared to face battle against Donald Trump, who is only three and a half years younger.
The special counsel claimed that Biden “did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 — when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’)”
White House officials have scoffed at and questioned several of Hur’s allegations, arguing that they were irrelevant to his probe in the first place.
During a heated press conference, Biden mistakenly referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi as the “president of Mexico.”
Republicans jumped on the discovery, with some, such as Rep. Claudia Tenney, advocating that the cabinet invoke the 25th Amendment and remove him from office on the grounds that he lacked the ability to serve.
The 25th Amendment authorizes the removal of a president in the event of incapacitation in some form.
Whether Republicans can garner enough votes is another question. In the polarized climate, it would likely go along party lines and keep Biden in office.

Beautiful. Seems like the Dominican knew this day of absolute chaos in Haiti would come. And it's a good thing they began construction on this border wall in advance of this. The goal, eventually, is to build a border wall which stretches the entire length of the two countries' border.
President Abinader says the wall has reduced thefts of livestock, motorcycles, and vehicles by 80%. And while most Haitians are planning to remain in Haiti, about 3% have attempted to enter the Dominican Republic. Those who have found gaps in the border wall are being deported by the truckload.
Haitians who have tried to escape from the country to the neighboring Dominican Republic have been thwarted by a 12-foot, 100-mile-long wall.
The Dominican Republic has ramped up border protections in recent weeks as unrest in Haiti escalates due to gang violence.
The crisis has led to a humanitarian catastrophe with 5 million Haitians in need of aid and 362,000 internally displaced.
After Prime Minister Ariel Henry resigned, some 17,000 people fled Haiti's capital - Port-au-Prince.
Many have headed to the border with the Dominican Republic, but the country's President Luis Abinader warned international leaders that "either we fight together to save Haiti, or we will fight alone to protect the Dominican Republic."
