Russia widens attacks on Ukraine:
Russia widened its military offensive in Ukraine on Friday, striking near airports in the west of the country for the first time as troops kept up pressure on the capital, Kyiv, and the U.S. and its allies prepared to revoke Russia’s favored trading status in a new punishment for the invasion.
The airstrikes on the Lutsk airfield left two Ukrainian servicemen dead and six people wounded, according to the head of the surrounding Volyn region, Yuriy Pohulyayko. In Ivano-Frankivsk, residents were ordered to shelters after an air raid alert, Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv said.
Ukraine accused Russian forces of hitting a psychiatric hospital near the eastern Ukrainian town of Izyum on Friday in what the regional governor called “a brutal attack on civilians.”
Canada slapped sanctions on Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich on Friday but said the move won’t affect the Canadian operations of Evraz North America, which supplies much of the steel for the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
Speaking in Warsaw, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Mr. Abramovich and four others who prop up Russian President Vladimir Putin’s regime were hit with assets freeze and banned from doing business in Canada.
In Ottawa, MPs are expected to hear from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who will deliver a speech virtually next Tuesday, Government House Leader Mark Holland says. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invited the besieged leader to address Parliament when the two spoke on Wednesday. Zelensky has already addressed the British Parliament and U.S. Congress amid his push for Western leaders to do more to punish Russia for its war in Ukraine.

Truckers in DC say the convoy will continue to loop the Beltway, demand to be heard:
The People’s Convoy has officially reached the nation’s capital, as of earlier this week, and they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, Fox News reported.
According to reports of statements from the group’s organizers, the convoy, which has been traveling for several weeks, making its way across the nation, won’t stop driving until they get a chance to say their piece.
Representatives of the convoy said that they will continue to loop the Beltway around DC until lawmakers “hear our stories,” according to Fox.
People’s Convoy members have already met with several Republicans in Washington, attempting to get lawmakers to hear their cause for concern.
Thus far, organizers have met with Republican Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Ron Johnson (R-WI), on Tuesday, voicing their reason for the protest, namely the COVID-19 mandates and other pandemic-related issues.
Organizers were asked recently about what they plan to do now that they’ve brought the protest to the politicans’ front doorsteps.
When questioned by reporters covering the massive group, the convoy’s co-organizer told reporters that “we’re not going anywhere.”
“We’re going to keep looping the beltway until we’re heard,” Brase said.
Brase and other representatives were clear that they take issue with both vaccine and mask mandates as well as the federal response to the pandemic.
They are demanding that lawmakers and health officials investigate where COVID-19 originated, in addition to other related demands. Brase was very clear that they are “not anti-vaxxers,” Brase said. “We’re just pro-choice.” [Conservative Institute]

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and the Republican-led Florida Legislature have once again taken another massive step to give parents more control of what their children are experiencing and learning in the classroom, especially on the topic of sexual education and gender ideology.
According to the Washington Examiner, the Florida Senate on Tuesday passed a controversial parental rights bill that will prevent children from being brainwashed in the classroom regarding gender and sexual orientation topics, as the bill bans the topics from the classroom from kindergarten through third grade.
The news of the state Senate’s passage of the bill comes on the heels of the state’s House passing the bill last month. It only now needs a signature from the governor himself, and he’s expected to sign it any day.

Canada - The Popularity of Justin Trudeau and fallen off significantly since the Trucker’s Convoy

Justin Trudeau was hoping the war in Ukraine would distract Canadians from the war he inflicted domestically upon his own people. Trudeau enacted the Emergencies Powers for the first time in history in order to behave like a dictator to silence free speech. Anyone who still believes he is a man of the people needs a brain scan. Trudeau does not have a leg to stand on to condemn Putin when he too jailed the opposition, journalists, and anyone who supported their plight. He showed his inability to behave like a leader by hiding from the protestors and implementing the harshest penalties by law instead of facing them like a man.
It is no wonder that nearly half of Canadians (47%) now have a worse impression of Trudeau, according to a Nanos Research survey. His image as the young empathetic leader has shattered– mask off. A separate survey by Angus Reid Institute found that 65% of Canadians polled believe Trudeau’s response worsened the already tense situation between the government and Freedom Convoy protestors.
Trudeau embarrassed Canada on the international stage, with numerous world leaders condemning his actions that were the definition of hypocrisy. He upset his own Parliament and insisted that anyone who disagreed with him was a Nazi sympathizer. The prime minister thought it was simply a “fringe minority” who opposed government mandates. He assumed he could easily impose the will of Schwab on the people to begin the Great Reset. The protest may have ended after three weeks, but the long-term effect the truckers have had on Trudeau’s image is seared in the minds of Canadians.
