Journalists see it as their job to safeguard the best interests of the Democrat Party.

And the media was horrified that Kamala’s price control scheme gave Republicans their first target to punch at since she entered the race.

Members of the press leapt into action to slam the plan in the hopes Kamala would walk it back.

The Washington Post editorial board published an op-ed blasting price controls as a “gimmick.”


“‘Price gouging’ is not causing inflation,” the editorial read. “So why is the vice president promising to stamp it out?”

The paper – of course – left out Kamala’s role in causing the inflation crisis but did note that the secretive and unaccountable Federal Reserve played a role in the catastrophe by endlessly printing money during the COVID pandemic in order to subsidize the lockdowns.

 

But the Post wasn’t about to let her off the hook.

“Unfortunately, instead of delivering a substantial plan, she squandered the moment on populist gimmicks. Americans are clearly still anxious and angry about the high cost of groceries, housing and even $5.29 Big Macs,” the Post editorial continued.

The Post ripped Kamala for taking the cheap, leftist way out and falsely blaming grocery stores for nonexistent “price gouging.”

 

“The vice president instead opted for a less forthright route: Blaming big business. She vowed to go after “price gouging” by grocery stores, landlords, pharmaceutical companies and other supposed corporate perpetrators by having the Federal Trade Commission enforce a vaguely defined “federal ban on price gouging,” the Post also wrote.

Republicans couldn’t remember the last time the press took a Democrat to task over a policy proposal.

And that was a dead giveaway that Kamala’s price control scheme was toxic beyond belief.

Piling on Kamala’s lies, Carlson pointed out the absurdity of her claim that she’s fighting the cartels to secure the border while being an absent border czar. “She’s telling us that she fought the cartels to secure the border? She’s the border czar, and the border is controlled by the cartels,” Carlson remarked.

 

Jason Whitlock interjected. “She argued that Donald Trump, quote, ‘Tried to throw away your vote.’ Didn’t the Democrat party just throw away all the votes and install her?” he raised.

“Well, exactly!” Carlson responded. “She’s saying that Donald Trump will free from prison violent extremists, meaning, like 75-year-old lower-middle-class women with diabetes, when she endorsed defunding the police and opening the prisons to allow actual criminals out.”


“I don’t want to sound like I’m whining or ‘fact-checking,’ which I hate, but what she’s saying is the mirror image of the truth,” Carlson continued. “She doesn’t care. She’s got no reference points in the truth, and she’s an extremist.”

Carlson then pointed to Harris’s background as a former prosecutor and explained why “No former prosecutor should hold power.”
